@justganesd953 Thank you so much. The reserve liquid contains all the salt and hence acts as a preservative. Also since we have boiled the liquid and reduced it to almost half. This will preserve the Pickle better. I still have Pickle which I've made last year. You just need to keep it in the refrigerator for a longer shelf life. 🙂
Hi Lydia, If you can't get mustard dal then you can coarsely grind whole black mustard and add. Because mustard dal is split mustard without the skin. Have a nice day!
