The sound of a Lace Monitor making its hissing call. This large species of goanna sometimes makes a drawn out breathy hiss when it feels threatened. You can also hear the sounds of the claws of the monitor as it adjusts its position on the trunk of a large eucalyptus tree. Lace Monitors are a species of monitor lizard found in Australia. They are also known as goannas.
