I think it’s not only a homage to the original game, but also a reference to those “unfinished” and those test areas (specifically the test areas that were in Waste of Space for PC) areas in GoatZ and Waste Of Space.

It's even better when you know that the first goat simulator game wasn't even supposed to be a "real game". Just a joke on the flood of "simulator games" coming out at that time. But just that joke game got so much popularity they decided to make a proper game out of it. And despite all of that, it's still better than quite a few AAA games that have come out in recent years... :P

The Farmer is a Greek tragedy in the modern day. Pilgor is a force of nature, and up until the very end, the Farmer believed he could tell her what she could and couldn't do.
