Any plans on abridging season 2 when it ends ... if it ends what are the abridging rules ? Also is it me or do Lizard shaman , dwarf and Fire Witch (purple dress purple hat purple eyes never lets go of her pipe you know who I mean) look different in season 2 something about the first twos faces and in third ones case area below the face or head ?

This is one of my favorite Abridged series & also the members of “Titan Storm” in the manga it actually shows a bit of their past like Wizard graduating at the top of her class from the Academy, Warrior who listened to the stories of Adventurers which inspired him to become one, & Fighter who trained under her father in martial arts until his death then dedicated to become an adventurer

Here's the best way to describe this series: the OG Goblin Slayer anime is how people imagined D&D is supposed to be played. Goblin Slayer Abridged, however, is how D&D is actually played. 🤣 And try not to pause at the worst possible moments. You kinda kill the comedic moments when you pause right before the punchlines.

Hopefully he won't pause when Guild-Girl or High Elf Archer are talking in the next episode (especially High Drunk Archer). Some of the best bits are how over-it GG is, and the whole HEA gets drunk scene.

FYI the rule not to kill with fire poison or water had atleast some sense and explained better in the manga the reason was.. goblin slayer could've take goblin with fire/poison/water with ease.. but then spread it to the nearbye village and caused bigger problem for the humans. (with water, can overflood the place, or take their water supply, with fire its easy to imagine how it can go wrong.. with poison.. if it spread through water for example it'll spread to all the species drinking it) that why they limited goblin slayer arsenal.. Not because GS ways of killing goblins are too accomplished.

In the actual series he killed the beholder by loosing a cloud of flour in the room so it would explode when it used its disintegration beam, and when elf archer was chastising him he replied "it wasn't fire, water, or poison right?" So even canon Goblin Slayer can snark

..IKR !? ..the Abridged cuts out Priestess's wetting herself (situationally realistic too being honestly human), .twice!, from pure terrified fear of events before her eyes. I do wish they'd kept them in somehow within the Abridged series 1, ...as really most humans would not under stressful circumstances, don't forget to go empty themselves, but rather choose to hold on & in, until a hopefully possible much safer times later on, ...but then at some future point, even further stress and body-automatical events decide *You Have Five Seconds To Comply!* and then go.... *_'Immedius Expelliamus Urinus et Excrementis Purgeous Totallus!'_*

She's a monk. Monks typically don't use weapons or armor. They CAN use some weapons, but their AC is better sans armor, iirc, and their bodies are their weapons. Punches and kicks. and the like.

It's funny how people and the ones I know avoid watching Goblin Slayer because they think it's only about violence and sexual violence/fanservice. But I can tell by reading the manga too, that it is deeper than that. The series features a very broken man, changed and traumatized by his past, unable to move on and becomes a monster himself in the eyes of the goblins. But upon his journey with priestess and other colleagues, he develops once again something he lost, his humanity, companionship, and emotions. To those who haven't watched/read the series, once you get beyond the dark scenes, it's actually a quiet good manga.

Okay, I'm watching this later tonight while I'm at work. But I had to leave this comment here... THIS SERIES DOES WHAT THE ORIGINAL COULD NEVER DO AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH! So many abridged whether it's projekt mouthwash, something witty entertainment, or grimmjack have taken the lessons of DBZA to heart. If it's good, great! If it's not good, where could you improve? And they found the PERFECT way to improve what was normally a tacitern and... Frankly a hidden gem of an MC. He didn't say much in the original, he didn't express much, and what was going on in his head was unimaginable. Here, though... They realized there were no mouth flaps, so you could literally say ANYTHING without extra work.

You should read Goblin Slayer year one if you want an indepth look at how GS's mind works, because it's basically what you would assume from someone with heavy ptsd and obsessive compulsion disorder, he is not a mentally well person.

Like I watched all of Goblin Slayer, then All of Abridged and then the Movie and I was seriously Surprised how calm and Silent Goblin slayer is Acting in the Original. I liked his Abridged version so much more that it just became the real Version for me lol.

Yo! This message goes out to all the Goblin Slayer fans, _especially those who, like Papa Nux, respect how insanely efficient and meticulous he is._ If you haven't heard of it, or just haven't picked it up yet, there is a spin-off PREQUEL manga called _Goblin Slayer: Year One_ and it is no joke one of, if not THE _GREATEST_ spin-off manga to ever be created. The story starts LITERALLY on his 1st day signing up to be an adventurer after having just completed his training under his master. It shows us what he was like before, we get to read his inner monologue analyze the situation and we actually get to SEE him slowly learning from his mistakes and watch as his interactions with people and society slowly build him up. YOU GET TO WATCH HIM _BECOME THE _*_GOBLIN SLAYER._* ...and I honestly find that process to be extremely satisfying and intriguing. I loved this, it was amazing... also... I think I've seen too many bad things on the internet, because I was unfazed when the um... things happened, both here, on my rewatch of the series by myself for season 2, and the "I watched Goblin Slayer and it humbled me" video by Nux... the internet has done irreversible damage on you if you are like me, no amount of bleach can bring back your innocence.

That's the thing about Goblin Slayer. He never shows his face, so there are NO lip flaps. Meaning they can legit write anything they want and it'll work cause of the helmet.

Barely 3 minutes in and I'm alrwady in stiches😂 Not gonna lie I was hoping that Abridged Goblin Slayer (the character) would have been a great combination of a Doomsguy, Guts from berserk and extreme Crusader meme - so glad I was right😂😂😂
