I love goblincore so much but having many things in my room makes me feel overwhelmed which sucks cause I have to store a lotta things I love in boxes where I can’t see them.
You don’t have to have stuff displayed but if you want to maybe try slowly bringing more and more stuff out over the course of 3 months or something to get used to it (just an idea I’m not sure if it works though)

Y'know, I was raised to be a goblin. I used to go to this club thing from ages 4-9 where we would start of singing a song about mushrooms and snails and frogs and trees and fairies. Then we would dance in different groups called the fairies, the sprites, the pixies and the goblins (I was a goblin.) And we would dance around a giant mushroom with snail on it. Then we would make collages of pretty stuff we found and then would forage in the forest by the meeting spot to find flowers and random trinkets. And at Christmas we made ornaments with the trinkets. Now I'm a queer, genderfluid goblin.

I want to be cottage/goblincore but I was super suppressed growing up so now I don't know how to express myself openly without feeling guilty;~; will literally apologize for existing in the wrong area let alone existing while enjoying myself. Can I be fixed? The people in these TikTok have so much personality! I want to have personality too :( without being ashamed.
Aw, I can definitely relate to this. My interests were always heavily suppressed due to years of being an outcast in middle and early highschool. I'm 29 now and I'm now at a place where I am unashamed and revel in expressing myself with my aesthetic, interests, etc. My advice, though easier said than done, is that you HAVE to push through that initial discomfort, for you. Little by little, introduce small elements of your style into your wardrobe, decor, etc. Pay attention to how each piece makes you feel in public, does it bring YOU joy? Does it make YOU feel proud? Actively pursue your interests, and you will more easily find others with similar inclinations. I know it's all easier said than done, but life is so damn fulfilling when you're actively molding yourself into your ideal. I told myself that I want to look like a damn wizard surrounded by plants and crystals and candles and to wear embroidered folk clothing and bones in my hair and a crystal on every finger, and now that I'm doing it and living that I feel amazing lol. I also go to renaissance fairs to find people that mesh with my interests. And though it's not important, I actually get alot of interest from people and they seem genuinely happy to ask me questions, give me compliments, etc. Maybe they too wish to live their truth and needed the push :) sorry for the novel, but I hope you can soon be comfortable in expressing yourself. You're a wonderful hooman and you deserve that!
