Thank you! I hear "itadakimasu" all the time in an anime I'm watching but not "gochisousama" so I wasn't aware of this. It feels proper that there's a phrase of gratitude for the meal *after* you've eaten.
Thank you. I've been looking for a good pronunciation of this. "Itadakimasu" I've got pretty well, but many people teaching Japanese in videos tend to rush through "gochisousama."
in Arabic language before meal we say .. bism allh(means in the name of god ) after meal we say.... alhamdullh (means thanks God) . and when someone is finished meal you have to teal him alf afea (means thousand of healthiness)
