I’m not a member of the church, but Elder Kearon is one of my favorite religious leaders in any sect

This is one of the most important talks ever given in General Conference

This was probably my favorite talk this session. I appreciated the initial humor, but I very much loved the emphasis and clear importance he put on the basic fundamentals.

I loved this powerful talk so much and couldn't wait to hear it again. "God is in relentless pursuit of you." "Infinite covers you AND those you love." "He does not put up roadblocks; He removes them." I never fully grasped the symbolism of the veil of the temple ripping when Jesus died before; this utterly enlightened my understanding. I will be listening and absorbing this talk on repeat. Thank you so much for your powerful witness, Elder Kearon!

Is there in the world, someone who can be objective with no agenda, have the knowledge, intelligence and fair mindedness to examine the different faiths of this world and listen to the words spoken by Elder Kearon and the other speakers and not concede their is no hidden agenda from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints other than to invite ALL to come unto Christ and the blessings the Father of all humanity wishes to give to those who are willing to receiv them??❤😮

Every leader needs to take this talk to heart, to not put road blocks in the path of those willing and wanting to change, to exercise mercy!

I absolutely love this talk. He speaks with so much power and I connected to his words so much. I can't wait to hear from him more in the future.

My testimony is that Jesus weeps over us! The same way that He wept for Mary and Marian - He weeps for us! Like a parent suffering with their child as they undergo essential surgery, He mourns our pain even as He allows it so that we may grow 💔❤ He doesn’t watch us through a glass window, numb as we suffer, He feels for us and longs for us to turn to Him and to receive of His eternal perspective and Peace and Hope! I also testify that His healing power is in full force today, and He will heal you in His time as we turn to Him! My life and mind and heart have been utterly transformed by His miraculous power! ❤️ God loves us, blessed be the name of the Most High God!

He had a talk about mental illness and abuse. It was very helpful to me. I've blame myself alor of times. Today I see the message about no road block. 😊

I feel like i get very hard on myself when I make wrong choices...but the hope in elder kearon and his wonderful talk helps me to know that HOPE for me and others has always been there because of my wonderful Lord n Savior Jesus Christ! Thank you Elder Kearon!

0:38 - A personal experience seeing a policeman blocking traffic at a roadblock 2:18 - God's plan is designed to bring us home, not keep us out; no roadblocks are set up to turn us away 2:45 - God is in relentless pursuit of us and employs every measure to bring us back 3:01 - The purpose of mortality is to have refining experiences, use agency, learn, grow, and return to God 3:31 - Christ's atoning gift removes the roadblocks of physical and spiritual death that separate us from our eternal home 4:00 - The various names of God's plan all point to its intent of bringing happiness, redemption, mercy and salvation 4:40 - The plan's purpose is our happiness now and eternally, not to prevent it or cause worry and fear 5:15 - God's mercy is extended as we turn to Him; the plan is not to deny mercy or inflict pain 5:40 - Salvation comes as we receive Christ's testimony and offer our whole souls to Him 6:05 - Christ consistently invited us to change, repent, and come unto Him, calling for a mighty change of heart 6:44 - Believing in the redeeming intent of God's plan and the infinite reach of Christ's Atonement 7:50 - Christ's infinite Atonement covers everyone, including you and those you love 8:17 - The Savior seeks out the lost and is not willing that any should perish, extending mercy to all 9:15 - Christ welcomes the broken heart and contrite, removing roadblocks and barriers 9:42 - The saving intent of Christ's atoning sacrifice, symbolized by the temple veil being rent 10:29 - The Father's plan is about removing roadblocks, not creating them 10:43 - With Christ's grace, keeping commandments and changing our natures are within reach

God wants us to love each other as He loves us. We need to remember Christ makes this possible by showing us how.

I have a feeling I'm going to really like this guy. For me he feels like he could be the next Holland. He's quite empathetic.

Around where I live, there have been several billboards suggesting that Jesus IS there to judge and keep you out. Grateful for this simple explanation of Heavenly Father's plan of redemption and happiness

Even though I've suffered a lot of challenges lately, I know that God loves me. I've seen so many miracles of hope filled glimmers of the light of Jesus Christ in my life amid the darkness that oftentimes surrounds me! For anyone who is suffering I hope these words I say can help you: God knows you personally, and loves you! Don't give up hope.

Yes, God's work and glory- is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. He has and is doing all that is possible for that goal. But, we must love him by keeping his commandments with all that we have (heart, soul, mind, might, and strength) and then love our neighbors as we've loved ourselves by keeping his commandments. Upon this hang all the laws and the prophets, it is the primary teaching of all of the scriptures and especially in the Book of Mormon. It does make sense that people would get some news related to those they knew in their afterlife.

I've been told I'll wake up during the first morning of the resurrection but... I don't feel worthy for that. I mean, all I do is sit and lay down on my bed and I don't get much occasion to help around our house. I've been declared inept to have a job due to mental limitations so I play video games. I mean, I'm wasting my life watching the news because I'm afraid of what's going all over the world and how it could affect us LDS members and my friends. I'm exhausted, I live every day in terror and I'm terribly scared something will happen to US and Canada. I feel useless.

Finally! We haven't had a funnier prophet since Hinckley. Hilarious! Love 'em.

Hello. I'm am investigator and truth seeker. I'm currently reading the book of mormon! Just finished the new testament 🥳 I have a question about this talk that I'm hoping someone can help me with. Is there a point at which a members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints refrain from considering sins as "mistakes"? Is there any concern within church leadership that up and coming generations will permanently view and rewrite sin as "mistakes"? Inferring that sin has limited accountability or is all accidental, or is generally regarded as being committed without any thought or personal choice. Aren't "mistakes" very different than sins? I like this talk and I was probably drawn to it first because I needed to hear it but what always goes through my mind is this quote in Scripture: " I will be a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense" Someone help me understand which one is correct so now I'm confused. Let’s be real. If God loved us as much as leaders in The Church preach, he wouldn’t have to “intend” to bring us all home,He just would. It would be the charitable thing to do at the least. I would never turn my son or daughter away. Never. The fact that God “wants all of His children to choose to return to Him” sounds very narcissistic and conditional. Hopefully myself and the ones I truly, unconditionally love won’t be cast into outer darkness for our mortal ways.
