@@שיאוסטן well part of it was the substance abuse. I was on about 12 prescriptions and I was 150 lbs heavier when I started taking cannabis. I've lost weight and I'm eating more organic food. I'm taking vitamins and drinking a sugar free shake in the morning with CBD in it. It helps the chronic pain, which was why I was on those pain pills to begin with. I am so glad I discovered this plant that helps me be a better human.

God is perfect, man is not. Man made booze and God made pot. Cannabis helps me be a better human too. I am eternally grateful for all the amazing medicine the creator created for us. God bless you

You're very good at convincing yourself your drug experiences have anything to do with God. Explain to me, how exactly does a molecule entering the brain force an experience with God? He isn't even physical so it doesn't make sense to me unless you're a shamanist who says God literally is the universe and that's how a molecule in the brain can force an interaction. Unless you're saying God simply uses the experience, regardless of the effects, as an opportunity to communicate?

After watching Chapelle’s special I wondered what happened, since I thought he just came off as angry and unfunny. He can be charismatic, but without content it’s just noise. Then I checked and saw he was working with Neil in his heyday.

I know exactly what I’m talking about, I lived it. I’ve been heavy into Acid, shrooms, booze, blow and other drugs, I know what I’m talking about. I also know what the Word of God says about being sober minded. I smoked weed for medical reasons and God took away my cramps from my disease over the same night he took away my addictions. The type of bush God spoke to Moses through in the Bible isn’t important, the important point is that bushes burn when on fire and this one did not… because it was a miracle, because God does TRUE and REAL miracles, he doesn’t deceive us to think they are happening when they really aren’t. What, did the donkey’s spit have some sort of hallucinogen in it and the donkey spit into Balaam’s mouth and he started hallucinating that his donkey was talking to him? No, of course not. It really happened, because God does REAL miracles. Did all of the pagan priests and Elijah get high (behind the scenes, extra biblically) and that’s why his alter was burned up by fire from the sky? They all hallucinated it? Of course not, because God does REAL miracles. Would you like to hear more of what I don’t know?

Debatable, my friend. God is way, way more than we can learn from the bible as its just a book written by people. If the man now believes in god only after using this ancient potion we can surely consider that a win?

@@antonvrb1510 God IS the Word. The Bible isn’t “just a book written by men”, that’s insulting to God. It’s his inspired word. Obviously God is more than two covers and a bunch of paper with ink on it, but the physical part of the Bible is not the important part, the knowledge and understanding garnered from the words is what’s important. That’s why it can be written in any language and on any medium and still be the word of God. I don’t know if I consider that a win, I would want to hear what God he actually believes in first. Even if that were true, that doesn’t mean promoting the use of drugs is a good thing to do.

Meaning the Holy Spirit worked through those who wrote it, such that what we have on paper is what God intended us to have. It's God's doing, his instruction and his teaching. That doesn't mean all truths are only found in the Bible, 2 plus 2 equals 4 is true and that isn't in the Bible, however 2 plus 2 equals 4 is not the Word of God, the Bible is. Can I ask what is hard to understand about that? (not being mean or sarcastic, genuine question)

My logic tells me that those who wrote the bible claim that their writings were the word of God and for all I know, they truly believed that. How we can take the word of people so far back in history, without question and just believe their claim that God spoke through them, i find curious and illogical. Have you considered how profitable it would be for people to believe that God spoke through you back then. Exactly the same as today's super rich television preachers who rake in millions while making people believe that they are special and that God speaks through them. I understand that you base your life on instruction and the many wisdoms in the bible and never would i intentionally disrespect your beliefs. All i am saying is that logically, i can not understand the blind faith. Yes i do know the passage about blind faith in the bible and perhaps that may have been the piece of the Book that got me thinking about applying logic instead of blind faith from what i read and was preached to me. I am happy to keep chatting, but i feel uncomfortable as my points are directly against what you believe in your heart and i dont want to cause unpleasant feelings in yourself.

I read a report that said that the more you cook red meat, the more carcinogenic it becomes, particularly to your colon. It has to do with the chemical changes from cooking it (according to the study). Personally, I still won’t eat a rare steak, idc what studies come out

@@JoeArn1 Certainly there are ways of cooking meat that make it go from very healthy food to unhealthy food, but overall if done right, as opposed to done too well, it is very nutritious.

Meat CAN be a carcinogen but aren’t necessarily ALWAYS one.
