I spoke hastily there and out of context. A better take would be this "ALL sin separated us from God" and you are Born in Sin. But after giving your life to Christ, you are born again, a new creation, and no one can take you out of the Father's hand. After accepting the work of the Cross, you are dead to sin. Though you will still sin, it will not separate you from God. What do we say then? should we go on sinning that Grace may abound? By no means! we are those who died to sin, how could we go on living in Sin? However, the only thing that can "arguably" separate you from God is Apostasy. and that is a video for another day. In summary, what do I have to say to Isaiah 59:2? I would say Romans 5&6, Hebrews 8.
I agree. The stick in the mud is: is Homosexuality a sin? Just because there are subliminal influences we ARE created to choose and this act would fall into the sin classification. However, if you are "saved" this sin would not send you to hell anymore than lying, or thievery. ALL sin is equal on the eyes of our Heavenly Father. And, like any sin it should not be encouraged or accepted behavior... Thank God for being our ABBA FATHER who Loves all who Love Him and have accepted HIS plan of salvation through His Son Jesus to forgive us OF ALL our sins by confessing with our mouth (public declaration) AND BELIEVING IN THEIR HEARTS JESUS IS LORD OF ALL. Very much a sin....straight up tells you in the bible you're going to hell....churches need to stop taking away from the bible to appease people....nothing worse than the "christians" who love having their ears tickled
Jesus saved me....41 years of living as a lesbian....repentance is key...Jesus took away every thought of homosexuality I've ever had.....so yes you can be saved but you can't be a gay christian
Good point and I agree to a.point. Maybe Bryce can help us out.? THE wages of sin are death. But does it keep you out of heaven? Also, i believe Blaspheming Holy Spirit is more than sin. I am Not gay, nor condone the behavior and what saved you was when you gave your heart to Christ. Then you were changed from the inside out. I believe that it really is a non issue because if you truly have given your heart to Christ then He will deliver you out of that life style...
Josh McDowell came out and ended his marriage??! No. You've got that wrong, buddy, to the best of my knowledge. His marriage is one of the strongest and most protected (by himself) in Christians circles.

Any other sexual encounter is sin. No sin separates you from the Lord, but you must examine your heart to see whether or not the Lord is in the place where he should be, which is number one.
