God Bless America - A Patriotic Filled Day with the Family

We are so grateful to celebrate our Freedom as American's this week and it started off with a wonderful Patriotic "God and Country Day" at our church this morning. As an annual tradition, the church celebrates God's blessing on America, celebrates the freedom we have as American's and as Christians, and celebrates the Christian Heritage that was foundational for our country.
I was thrilled to be able to also play a wonderful medley of songs celebrating America, which I've added into this weeks update (I hope you enjoy it and take a moment to reflect on the blessing of Freedom!).
After the morning service, we had a wonderful time doing some chores around the house, including feeding the animals, and playing together as we soak up this HOT Florida Summer weather!
Thanks for tuning in this week! I know we haven't been consistent lately as we have many things in play right now as we look forward to the future and obediently follow the Lord's leading in our home - We'll share more about that soon!
We love you and hope you and your family have a SAFE and Happy Independence Day! We'll leave you with the words to a beautiful song that was sung at church this week - I hope it stirs you as it stirred us!

You guys are such a great example of a Godly family. So refreshing to see kids being raised up in the way in which they should go. They've been given great gifts from above. With homeschooling they can advance as quickly as they need to without waiting for peers to be on the approximate same level. I was surprised at that announcement as well. I had to google his age as I thought there's no way he could be twelve as I was in sixth grade. Lol

I love how your children use their imagination to play and have fun in the garden using the grass to make play areas and pretend to cook, the way your children play the piano is amazing. Your fantastic parents and your beautiful children are living the best life.❤ It's just a shame that more other parents don't encourage their children to use their imagination to make up game to play instead of just sitting on their phones or computers. Erin, you truly have a gift with your piano playing. My Mother had a hand full of lessons when young. She could play by ear + mainly played for us kids growing up. We use to skip thru the house as she played + a fond memory at my St age. Dad use to take our family for car rides through the countryside....he was a farmer. Mom would ask us 3 siblings to sing + try harmonizing in the back seat. I loved those car rides. No air conditioner at home or in the car so car windows were down+ our hair would fly! God Bless!
