What a credit are these young men to their parents. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. · Proverbs 22:6
So happy to have found this today!Such knowledge and joy! I love the sweetness and the laughter makes me smile! Truly delighting in his word! Look forward to exploring the Torah with y'all! Blessings and Shalom!
Shabbat Shalom, Josiah and Hosea. I pray you and your family are all well. Thank you for the informative and fun upload: wise words, brothers, wise words. Please give my best to your Father, Kevin. Thank you. Sabbath blessings. David (UK)
Also...Although being a mature woman, being a novice to Torah, Shabbat, Feasts, etc, I found these young fellas very easy to understand. I love learning from Kevin, but if I am truthful, quite a bit of it goes over my head-You're just too educated, intelligent and articulate for me, Kevin! 😆 I do so appreciate your teachings but am now excited to hear your sons explain the Torah portions each week. What a blessing you and your family are to seekers of Messiah! Thank you for being a good and faithful child of Yah and teaching your sons to be so too.
@@perfectwordTVyou should be proud Kevin & Mama Geoffrey! So refreshing, and a relief, to see His Truth spoken & taught in their generation. i do pray for your family, and i always will
@@peterhenderson7704so is Greek philosophy by Shaul. That does not make it scripture. Too many errors in the false book of Enoch. Enoch didn't write it.
Are you claiming that at least a third of the Brit Chadashah is NOT scripture? Wow... I agree completely, 1 Enoch is not scripture, but to claim Paul's epistles are not is rank heresy. The Apostle Peter wrote concerning Paul... As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 2 Peter 3:16. I'd be careful of that if I was you Dev....
It seems to me that if God doesn’t provide an answer (re: the nephilim) then we just need to accept that we have no need to know. We humans are arrogant in our belief that we have the right to know everything. If i read a passage & don’t understand it, i’ll pray for revelation. If His Holy Spirit doesn’t reveal an answer, then i accept that He has no need for me to understand it at that time. That’s my way anyway. Humility brings peace.
On the matter of Genesis 3:15... I wholeheartedly agree that this is the first hint of the coming Messiah, and of the virgin birth. I would however go much further, I believe this to be one of the most pivotal verses in scripture, and would allege that if you don't understand this verse then there are huge portions of scripture that one will not grasp. This verse lays out a theme that continues right throughout the Bible, that of a seed war, a war between the forces of YHVH and those of the enemy. Right through scripture we see the enemy trying to thwart the line of Mashiach, this is also where a clear understanding of Genesis 6 is required, as this is part of that war. Scripture interprets scripture, and it should be clear that the "sons of God" b'nai Elohim always refers to the angelic host. These were not humans... Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations (genealogy) Gen 6:9, his blood was not tainted, and this is the reason he was saved from the flood. Gen 3:15 also sets out that salvation would come through the Jews, the woman is Israel as is defined in Josephs dream. There is so much more I could say, but I hope I have raised the curiousity of some to pursue further study...
How long was a day, since light and darkness weren't made until the fourth day? It could be hours, ( our earthly calculation). It could have been milliniom. 😮
Evening and the morning, a day is 24 hours as defined by scripture... I often get accused of not believing in science, I would claim the contrary, I believe in science, I love science, I, and others, just interpret it in line with scripture. I am often asked how I can believe in a young earth model when we know the furtherest stars are millions of miles away? I agree that those stars are so far away, we know they are, I just don't think they took millions of years to get there. He stretches out the heavens. Isaiah 40:22. I have worked on a large open cast mine, petrified trees that dissect multiple layers of the geological column are seen the world over... Flies in the face of old earth theory wouldn't you say? Science is moving away from Darwinian evolution as the Emperor has no clothes, and defies scientific law, that of entropy... Modern science is proving more and more design, even though some refuse to accept it. Quantum mechanics and string theory are starting to catch up with scripture. God spoke the universe into being, "let there be"... Hebrew unlike English is an alpha numeric language, when Yeshua spoke into creation, it was digital code... How do you figure the atom holds together with positively charged protons repelled to each other? Science does not really know, they just call it the strong and the weak nuclear force. Scripture tells us, He holds all things together through his word... Heb 1:3. God says what he means, and means what he says...
