The kiwis are really following what they sing in their national anthem... They are pure, honest and really calm... And I must say God is really defending their free land far away from hatred and war...New Zealand is the perfect example of a perfect country... So much of love from INDIA , hope we learn to adopt some positivity from them. Let the peace bind all the countries together

I love New Zealand’s anthem more than any other anthems because its not as bombastic and hyped up like a typical anthem would. Its so down to earth and pure to heart. It doesn’t pretend to look strong. It doesn’t have a lot of nationalist pride. Instead it preaches how beautiful, vulnerable, and peaceful the nation is. And the best part is they included Maori verses, just shows how kindly they treat the natives.

My favourite national anthem for the melody and the message. This is so much better to sing about peace when representing your country than all those anthems inspired by wars or other tragedies or fights. Nez Zealand anthem is like the country and really representative of it : peaceful and inspiring. I specially like the beginning in Maori language.
With Lyrics. Should be explained that either or two languages could be used to sing this. Surprised. It was also sung at one of Australia's Anzac day 'celebrations'. Which language is not known by me. According to ABC Radio National, 8 am, Anzac Day, 2021. Multiculturalism? Hereppp in my Australian be Capital Territory, we have our Anthem officially only in English. Which other of the 250 Indigenous languages is unknown to me. Australians believe in no compulsion now. No more forcing any one true Yahweh onto non believers. That's what happens when the Indigenous tribes were 'civilized'.
