I can only correct you in a single part. That there is really a good reason for Nana's Blood Power, and it is the entire reason that her mother died. Her blood power was the culprit for calling the aragami that killed her mom, and thats why her blood power was that. And the reason everyone's blood power awakens with FRIENDSHIP is because of the Evoke blood power from the protagonist, but its still cringy. But its good that at least there are reasons explained in lore about these things. Btw, I HATE THE FIRST CHROME GAWAIN FIGHT, AND I MASSACRE HIS ARC ABERRANT FORM IN A WAY OF REVENGE

It's called the black plague instead of the red plague because of the black legions on people's skin, and also because it's a throwback to the original black plague, seemingly because of it's severity. They mention it in a cutscene

I was thinking there was just one Arc to end the game I didn't know there was another Ark story to end this game how long is it this game anyway? I just bought part 3 and I want to start it but I want to see the ending to part two first. How many difficulties do I have to go through to get to the end of the game? Can any fellow gamer be able to help me out with this question?
Bro i played over 300 hours and beat the game and got real deep into building things and collecting things........ THEN i realized what blood arts are LOL i went all those hours and completed it before i used it lmao
Don't know what's wrong with your system, but in 30 hours I've played so far game didn't crash once and the biggest problems I had were one glitchy texture and cropped texture of fire
Well, it's great that it didn't happen to you but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen to other players. I had crashes but no glitchy textures so take that as you will.
I remember the main story being... kinda ass tbh. Then in the dlc tree story.. the story was actually really good. Chroma gawain hard walled me for awhile.
Graphics are actually a bit worse than in resurrection, but it's more than understandable, just wanted to point out Blood arts feel raw and unfinished. Would me better if you could at least equip three of those at the same time or even one for every type of attack I have no problem hitting monsters so far, but devouring in this game is definitely harder and not always easy to do for sure I disagree about the story and characters being "meh", but I just killed Kyu... Kyy... Giant fox and in the 8th difficulty Saying that it's to similar to the predecessor is a bit unfair though, considering you played resurrection and not burst
@@DatLJGuy yes, but the problem isn't in "being spoiled". The thing is Resurrecting is made in GE2 engine. They basically changed the second game into the first, that's why they feel almost the same in terms of combat
@@dima_keller Yeah, I said that too at the beginning to let the viewers know that I played 2 with the perspective of having played resurrection first. What I meant by spoiled is that by having played the remake that was built using the same engine first, I didn't experience the quality of life changes improved from burst to 2, so both games felt nearly identical. My perspective is that of someone that has only played the PC versions when both games were released as one package in story order and not release order.
Just finished the game and came back to rewatch the vid I didn't have problems with Chrome Gawain and I think you better off being as aggressive as he is, because it's really easy to stagger him I'm surprised you didn't mention that red fox is at the end of annoying survival mission. I kinda suffered on it too, but the situation was a bit different. I rushed through ranks 11-14, so I fought it with r11 shield and gun and r12 scythe. Had a big break before playing this exact mission. Somehow had barely any problems with first act of the mission, but on the second my team always somehow managed to run out of everything and I had to either waste lots of limited items on them or kill Chrome Gawain on my own. In the third mission they basically just always died at the end and left me to fight red fox alone when this pup gets reinforcement in the middle of the fight! Ended up upgrading scythe to r14 and demolishing it Survival missions were extremely annoying to me Changed my mind about story. First half of the story is pretty good, but the second arc is pretty terrible. Still annoyed about the ending and that "Romeo is alive because friendship!" stuff Oh and second arc's character episodes made me hate the mechanic as a whole and hate Kanon with a passion! Switched from long blade to scythe at the start of rage burst arc. Concluded that it's also broken and poor busters just can't keep up 😅 Didn't check how much time exactly it took for me to beat it, but I believe it was a bit under 60 hours (I farmed lots of materials to check all the types of guns and to switch from buster to long blade and later from long blade to scythe, plus I finished almost all the character episodes)
i know this little bit sarcastic review about god eater series... but you didn't mention like character episode and god arc upgrade system.. is kinda misinformation about so little character information tho..
Well, only having time to write a script for a long video like this one in the evening after a day of work, I'm bound to miss some things lol. As for character development, I mainly refer to the main story since from what I've seen, the character episodes only have slice of life moments and introduce character quirks. They can be fun and all but I guess I just didn't take as much from it as you or others did so I didn't go in depth on it. And damn straight that Romeo bit was BS.

Characters I'd say are pretty good and I really am enjoying character episodes The pacing is terrible though! Even worse than in the first game and I hate it and it's because of the pacing that I have to quit the video for now, because spoilers
I said my criticisms with the fact that this is a faster monster hunter alternative in mind, but sometimes, the fast part goes a bit too far and ruins the balance a bit. Chrome may do normal damage, but coupled with its speed, it's hard to get a hit in. Even with faster attacks, it didn't make too much of a difference. What I showed in the gameplay is my first attempt at fighting Chrome. I tried to trade speed for damage with the blood art, it didn't work. After a few attempts, I finally beat it by taking it slow, which if you read my first sentence, destroys the objective of god eater being a faster monster hunter alternative. As for the fox fight, I'll take an L for that. At that point, nothing was working out so I grinded for the short blade with the most damage. Must've forgotten about the element. Frustration clouds your mind. Still, that fight dragged on and on with no visible progress even with different blades so I switched to the gun.
@@DatLJGuy I played through the first game and a bit in the second with a buster and has never had much problems finding an opening for a hit. With the long blade I'm playing now I can hit almost non stop on everything. Granted I haven't played short sword yet, but I don't think it's that hard, although long blade is definitely crazy As for the elements: I don't know how exactly they work in this game, but I just fought a Demiurge with a frost blade (because I forgot to switch and was too lazy to restart the mission) and it took like 3 times as long as normally, so...
@@dima_keller It's been a while since I last played but the first 2 games definitely favour heavier weapons since aragami armor is such a major component to combat.
I have a potato pc (I literally run the first 2 GE games on the lowset settings just that I can play them at stable 60 FPS) and I don't encounter crashes or any other similar issues with the game. Yeah, I often hear people complaining about having technical issues with the game (especially when it comes to co-op... I'm primerily a single player so there is that) like yours and I often wondee why that is. My guess is that it's usually a problem from the pc itself, rather than the game itself. There is no other way to explain the inconsistency in this.

@@silverstar1614 Thanks the survival portion of the game just to let you know what's poorly put together very very poorly put together. I've just made it past difficulty 11 and I'm on 12 and the very same monster your fart to get Levy's blood art is a very same monster you have to face only with armor on this time and another survival aspect of the game time ran out for me because apparently the idiot Developers decided to play bloodborne and Dark Souls when developing the survival aspect because the soldiers respond again and again. You take to of them out of third one comes you take all three out I feel while trying to beat same fast origami and then beat the 5th and final survival Part the stupid soldiers come back from out of nowhere this is awful design and no one when making this aspect thought this is wrong the monster is already fast enough let's just leave it a one on four and that is it.
