These guys were right there in the mix with lamb of god, shadows fall, kill switch engage, chimaira etc in the early 2000s… saw them many times up here in the northeast… I mentioned the obscure band Toranaga a while back… the song is called “the shrine” and there is a video… I think you will get a kick out of it

I saw them a bunch of times in northeast pa. I loved them. A bunch of times with hatebreed. The last time I saw them was with Zao and E town concrete.

Oh wow, got tv titty and the deep tongue all in one video. Slimey, yet satisfying! Same here though, found out about these guys a couple of years ago. One day, I was casually listening to a metal radio station on Spotify and this song by Kubli Khan TX came on (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TqVLhYoWQGo.html). I caught some of the lyrics out of context and was like "Wait a sec, is this some Nazi shit?" So I looked up the lyrics to make sure, thankfully it was not "some nazi shit," far from it! And it's also a pretty good song. Whew. Anyway, one thing lead to another and I was like, "It's annoying that I have to make sure I'm not listening to Nazi shit." So I went fully in the opposite direction and specifically looked for bands with African Americans and I found this and love it. Also, that "Momma, I'm Comin Home" redo is not good. But I do think my mom would like it.

Never heard of these guys...and is this somewhat deliberate - or dare I say snarky - timing considering Taylor Swift just dropped a single/video for a song of the same title? To say both are slightly different than this is an understatement. 😸 I did not care for the vocal but the music was cool....it was difficult for me to take the singer seriously anyway because he was reminding me of a local stand-up comic in these parts named Alabama (who is quite entertaining, by the way).
