I'm a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I'm currently preparing to go on a mission :) It's been a year and a half now of me trying to prepare and turn in my papers and my papers are finally in and im waiting for my calling! ^^ (basically telling me where I'll be headed for my mission) and so these past few months I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone and truly act like one of gods servants.. like avoiding music with horrible hidden meanings, avoiding horror games, avoiding a lot of the media because of cussing etc.. well.. A few days ago I decided to watch one of "SS Saved by Jesus"s videos and after watching ONE my RU-vid recommendations blew up. Ive been trying to humble myself more and give up my pride.. and with listening to others videos of their experiences and faith I realized how much I adore you guys of other faith. It's so refreshing to see people genuinely try their best to improve and choose to stay with God BESIDES the people of my church. I hope none of this came off as offensive.. but what Im trying to say is that from MY point of view.. a woman apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.. I love you different faiths all so so much.. I may not know all of your faiths nor stuff that goes on in your church..but I know a good spirit when I feel it.. and you sir.. have a lovely one.. I respect all those who strive to be like Jesus and God, Those who are hard working, physically and spiritually, working to be just like Jesus Christ and preach his gospel to comfort those who seek it and endure till his second coming. I bear my testimony and believe that everyone who has had a body, either now or has passed are all children of god and He loves you all so much and so do I. I say these things in the name of my beloved savior Jesus Christ Amen. P.s.: Thanks for reminding me to speak with our heavenly father more. I wrestle with weed so bad especially now that I’m a father and a husband. I don’t want to need to be high to feel ok. I only want Jesus Christ and my Family to make me feel ok. I’m sorry Father God I am truly repentant. Help guide me I am nothing without you. 🙏🙏

Live a life full of fasting and prayer! Pray in all circumstances. Whenver you feel temptation, run to God instead, and use 100% of your efforts to resist the urge. Ask God to give you strength as well to fight temptation away! His strength is made perfect in our weakness. God is BUILT to help you, you can’t do it on your own and it takes humility to KNOW that and confess that to God. Continue to be in your word and fast, for the word of God is alive and active!!

Needed this. Ive been so distracted but i need to humble up. We all gotta be aware of when were slipping. It shows when were backsliding from god. Behaviors show it. Dont kose sight of what god did for you. Jesus still koves and misses you. 💜 Repenting gets you closer. The key is to wanna do a u turn from sin to get close to jesus. Your eorks alone cant do it. 🤗 God please bring us all here closer to you.
Lord, I will increase my prayer skillset and start with baby steps, so I can pray and sustain a more active and powerful and dangerous prayer life even, with spiritual warfare, including my own internal doubt. Please grant me understanding about the nature of the relationship you want me to have with my family of origin. In Jesus's Name I pray Amen.
I can relate but i feel totally disconnected from God. I'm not getting any answers to my prayers, don't know how to talk or what to say to God. At the same time everybody and everything is being pulled away from my life, my job's gone, my two friends have no time for me as their own life's become too busy. It is as if I'm being purposefully driven to isolation.
Zechariah 1:3. God is always speaking we just have to stay still and listen I’ve personally went through isolation pretty recently when I moved to Texas about a year ago and I gotta say I’ve learn more n more about myself and was able to actually better myself. So maybe look at it from a perspective of a time to better yourself and prune away negative things in your life Everything happens for reason this could be a time you needed to help you on your future path 🙏🏾.
Just be patient bro, I know it can get hard when you feel like life is going nowhere, but GOD might be trying to isolate you to reveal things to you that you might not have noticed if you were surrounded by the crowd. Keep going strong brother cause “GOD will never leave you nor forsake you”

only reason i explode is cuz my parents dont wanna hear me out and all my fake friends are gone. i really dont have anyone but god. id love to open up but i just keep getting hurt or backstabbed. i dont know anymore man. this life doesnt really seem worth living sometimes

As Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God has plans for you, and though things look bad at this very moment, there is hope ahead. It is okay to hurt and, in turn, be protective of yourself about letting your guard down, but please don't shut off completely. Keep talking-even to God, if it's only Him for now. Matthew 11:28-29 says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Though I may not know you well, God does; He cares for you more than words can say, and yes, He is there, right in your darkest moments. Your life is a gift. I hope you are able to hold on to that truth.

That’s never true! You’re never too far gone for God just repent and strive to do better. Try your best to get out of willful sin and repent whenever you slip up, nobody is perfect but don’t use that fact to take advantage or Gods grace and sin because he will always forgive you. Sinning less should be your top priority 🤍🤍🤍
After David in the Bible sinned he was disconnected with God for an entire year but came back to Him eventually and was still considered a man after God’s own heart. Your not to far gone. It’s a process. Just come to him❤️

Hey man I appreciate this, I really needed this sometimes (a lot of times) i neglect how I feel and in that neglect of feelings I act like I don’t need to pray about certain things when I really do and I guess I don’t wanna seem like I need to be heard. Dude fr fr , it’s hard to pray because we think “oh , big God = scary , so I have to be always respectful” when in reality , he’s just our dad . A father-child relationship should be open and free ! Also unrelated ur voice is very soothing , u def get people w/ that . Keep shinin ur light brotha
What I do and what I’ve found to help is actually going in the closet and praying and it help flow my thoughts out ik it sounds crazy but just try it out maybe it’ll be easier 🙏🏾🙏🏾
