READ THE BIBLE REGULARLY:
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16 ESV).
PRAY REGULARLY:
Think of a child who talks to their parents every day, sharing their joys and struggles. In the same way, regular prayer is like talking to our Heavenly Father
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV).
ATTEND CHURCH REGULARLY:
Consider a soccer team that practices regularly in order to improve their skills and teamwork.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near" (Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV).
SERVE OTHERS:
"For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45 ESV).
SEEK ACCOUNTABILITY:
Imagine a hiker who climbs a mountain with a guide who knows the way and can provide encouragement and support.
"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working" James 5:16
