As a dog trainer, I usually shy away from watching canine themed channels. It's a little hard to hang up the work hat. This channel has me absolutely rolling. For the love of Dog, please do kelpies next.
Not all teens are horrible monsters. It's almost always dUSA teens. The parents are largely absent (or lazy), so the US government often runs things. And both parties - and hungry lawyers, of course - *enable* teens in their near-sociopathic bad behavior.
@@ChineduOparaWow! You just put all of America down and apparently you just made assumptions you have zero proof. No, parents are not lazy when it comes to raising their teens. You’re not in their life to know any better and a lot of hard work they do to help their kids. All teens around the world go through changes and hormones and peer pressure and low self esteem. Were you the perfect teenager? I highly doubt it. There are teens in other countries that deal with mental issues, drugs and even abusing others, peer pressure, and rather listen to their friends instead of their parents and even run away. Teens are always moody, scared and depressed. Also it can be genetic. We’ve all gone through being a teenager and there’s no way I would want to be a teenager. But I did good in school, had a part time job, studied my school lessons, was a part of school clubs. But it was still hard at times to enjoy my teenage years. The problem is with finding the right help anywhere in every country. Parents get the run around from medical doctors, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and told the kids needs medication to straighten them out or even sent to a mental illness facility that only keeps them for a few days. But what’s the reason you needed to bring up only American teenagers?! Why the need to pretty much belittle and disrespect just the U.S.? He said teenagers, he never said just teens from the U.S.A.. Sad that you think you made false accusations about just American teens and putting down the parents. No, they’re not lazy whatsoever. Since they have unconditional love for their kid, they’ll do anything to get help for their kid. Tell us how perfect you are to judge all of American teens and their parents. I’m sure we’ll be waiting a very long time. I really hope every American parent reads your disrespectful comment. A lot of American teens do great, are happy, devoted to their religion beliefs, volunteer their time, earn awards and trophies and are truly happy but every teen on earth, even when you were a teen, struggled. It’s normal. But I guess you were just too perfect. Right? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@@ChineduOpara I'm not gonna ask you to share what you're smoking. Tho I'll be needing the name of your meds. So I know what not to take if I ever have a mental breakdown like yours.
@@condorboss3339 my parents' first child was a Boston. Sadly, he got hit by a car and died before I was born, so I never got the chance to know him. My mum had lots of stories though... I've always loved them because of her stories.
You are too good at this. I forget that you're the same person playing both roles. Please never stop doing these. They're a light for me in the darkness.
what? This is not actually god (small g) and the Angel Gabriel? Not two heavenly beings, at odds forever? Truth is, I feel the same as you, this is the light.
As the owner of a Boston Terrier, I can confirm this is 100% accurate. The purse that went to Disneyland and snorted a whole bunch of cocaine is... well.... scary accurate.
@@elizabethhuber434 yes!! Stay. Away. From. Corn. My old dog Elvis could quite literally clear a room and when we switched him to a food without corn it, it improved drastically!
@@carly_0516 I switched from blue buffalo grain free chicken to something into the wild or something with grainfree venison/bison (that was somehow cheaper) and it drastically reduced the gassiness of my guy.
I’ve been to Disneyland many times, I see more dogs that are Guide dogs. That’s good so the person can still enjoy their day. I do see people bringing their pure bred dogs to the mall or a grocery store though 🤷🏻♀️
Also 100% accurate on "opted out of critical thinking to make room for love and affection!" They are like circus clowns in tuxedos; loyal, sweet, sassy, adorable! The BEST! Loved my two elderly rescues and a 6th generation Bossie family! ❤️❤️❤️
As someone who has two, this is extremely accurate, they have the zoomies all the time, it’s like if you gave a Frenchie 40 shots of espresso and injected it with crack
My Pug is very much the same! She’s 11 months old and gives our two poor cats absolute Hell! I think they appreciate our last Pug (who we sadly had to euthanize last year) because she was old and very chill. They snuggled with her all the time while our new hellion chews their ears, legs, faces. We love her anyway! 😂 We also considered getting a Boston prior to choosing a Pug and now we’re on our third one in twenty years. ❤
@@sairhug That very well could be why. I've never known why. I'm sure I could talk to the vet. Omg I had a rottie named Rex who would fart because he'd get so excited to see me lol
@@elaynaterrell3576 I just remembered that part of the advice humans are given to combat a bloated belly (i.e. which is going to end up as wind) is to not gulp air ... which is unfortunately what the brachycephalic breeds have to do a lot.
@@sairhug Yes they do. Did you know they can stomach staple a dog before they have belly flop to avoid it all together? We have a great Dane named Toby who's owner got it done so there was no risk of belly flop. According to my mentor they never used to do that unless it was already an issue. Makes me happy they do it as a preventative now. I also know a lot of vets refuse to dock ears now as well.
This is so true! My family has had two Bostons. The first one was Elvis, and he just loved everyone. He was attached at the hip to my brother and my dad. The second one was Bitsy and she was the most entertaining dog we've ever had. The only time she ever barked was if you said the word "park". We only allowed her on the big dog side though because she would jealousy hump the small dogs if you paid attention to them. She used to run under the big dogs' legs to get them to chase her and she would turn quick 360° spins to see if they were still chasing her and then she would keep going. Both dogs lived to be 17. Great dogs. I miss both of them. Now my dad has a neurotic Wheaton mix. She's insane.
Had 2 Boston terriers and while one completely fits this the other was really smart. Then again the farts were so bad that she learned to sleep with her head under a pillow and would still wake herself up with the smell, that dog knew how to clear a room. She totally prepared me for my husband and his gas attacks. Still miss her seven years later and cry when I get reminded of her. Best dog I've ever owned.
The Boston I grew up with was very smart and extremely athletic. That being said he had great genes and we looked up why some many around us had fat and really dumb ones that could barely run. They suck at regulating their body temperature. So when it’s hot out they can easily suffer a very bad heat stroke making them slow in the head and effect their ability to move well. So in the hot months make sure to keep them cool. If you’re as broke as my family was at the time then just pouring water on them occasionally works. And in the winter definitely put a jacket on them.
@@giftofthewild6665 I’m assuming you meant can not can’t, but yeah you could do that. But a lot more dog breeds have problems regulating their heat than you think. It’s just that most don’t have issues that bad. Me personally I just prefer a much bigger dog and where I loved the Boston I grew up with I doubt I’ll ever get one again because they don’t do well with separation at all. One of the most loving dogs I’ve ever known but I had to leave the country for a year because of work and it rejected me because it felt that abandoned. But some people will never have to do that and love them.
@@nickh495 nope, I meant what I said, *don't* buy a dog that *can't* regulate it's temperature. All dogs with flat faces cannot regulate their temperature, since its the muzzle that houses all the specialized tissues for heat exchange.
@@giftofthewild6665 yeah that’s pretty common knowledge. My comment was for those who don’t mind and still want one. Not for someone that refuses to get one so I don’t understand why you’re carrying on this conversation. Everything you’re saying is pointless.
@@nickh495 oh, you mean people who don't mind that their dog is going to suffer heat stress and potentially death as a result of being bred deformed and disabled because they think it looks cute. The reason I'm still commenting is because I don't think people should "Not mind" the unnecessary suffering of animals for aesthetic preferences.
I once had a Boston terrier named Oscar. He was the most loyal and smart boy ever. When i was 13 and my little brother who was in kindergarten was playing outside with him a Pitbull broke into the yard and charged at him. Oscar didn't hesitate and bite and held onto the other dog and constantly body checked the pit bull, giving my little brother time to flee and my mom to come out and hit it off with a branch. Poor boy didn't make it but I still think of this story whenever I hear people say they aren't loyal dog breeds. That little man gave his life for my brother and I hope wherever he is now he is getting plenty of zoomies and treats.
Sorry you’ve lost your snorter poots ❤️🩹 Bostons are generally so incredibly loving. As a veterinary nurse, they’ve always been one of my favorites. They can clear the room with their pooty tooty ends, but they’re so comically sweet, you don’t want to leave. Wishing you well with your loss and hoping you find puppy lovins again if it’s right for you. ♥️
@Heather Veronica Thank you, not sure if I will ever get another dog or dogs. Both of mine had major medical issues one of them for over half of her life. So it was all incredibly taxing but well worth it. Just not sure if I want to go through with that again.
I'm familiar with many of these breeds from spending quality time with my rotties at dog parks. All your vids bring back fond memories of the variety of fun puppers I've met over the years. Cheers!
@@ArtByKarenEHaley yeah, she was a rescue. Even now, years after she had to be put down at 16 years old due to her deteroating health, I still miss that little snuffly beast.
I am so happy your channel showed up in my recommended! You always bring a smile to my face with your comedy! ( plus I luv dogs and luv to learn!) Stay safe, stay sane, stay strong 🐶
As a Boston Terrier mom, this makes me so happy. My beloved BT Ray-Ray passed 2 years ago and I'm STILL so crushed i can't adopt another one yet. So i just donate to Boston Terrier rescues in his name. He could be dingy, but by the by, theyre really smart little fart machines😂😂
Oh yeah, a Jack would be great.. any dog breeds where the dogs' physical limits "hmm, do I really want to lay on the sofa? or am I cool with right here, in the direct walking path of anyone going to this room that everybody always sits in" and "I'm small enough to go anywhere & everywhere with human"; but their attitude is usually more along the lines of "stay the BORKBORKBORK from my person, I'm talking to them for you because I'm a BIG DOG.. why you looking down at me like that? I said I'm BIG"
Yeah, there is a lot of verification from the dog fan side of the internet so we need to speak up about the accuracy of this video from our side. God is def a Boston sports fan. ;)
Jonny! If you see this, can we have more of the longer videos with the origins of dogs, like you did for the Samoyed pleeeaaaaasssse? That was so funny but so educational and just all round dope af. I really liked the longer videos and learning at the same time as laughing. Anyhoooo, that would be rad, I’ll ask God to give it a mention to you also. 🙏🏼😇 👿
Ok,Youdear soul ,one of the loves of my life was Lucy my Boston terrier. You pegged her 15 years ago and my heart still aches. You are the best you sweetie and thanks.💜🐾♥️
Teenagers are pretty scary... Especially according to my poor Labrador. Boston's are so funny! My aunt's used to bring her toys to throw while she was on the phone. If she didn't pay attention and throw the toy, the dog would just go bring her another one.
You really can't how much charisma you have, I really wish you start acting career, besides the humor and creativity you have excellent facial expressions 🎉
Just for the record, I'd be so very happy if you'd do more (read: anything) with bichon frises. Labor-intensive, silly, floofy coats, but wonderfully sweet personalities.
My friend adopted a senior Boston terrier when its parent died. They thought he'd only live a year or so. That was many years ago, and they had to euthanize him today. Even though I don't believe in church god, I believe your god and angel sent me a sign today. I'll tell my friend about it when he's less sad.
Had one, can confirm. Except he was also mixed with French Bulldog. He had legendary rips. Like scary bad. My dad would always love his brand and make jokes about it in family gatherings in a way people laughed about. They they met Tank.. We'd say gas tank. Chillest best dog ever, but pack your nose to just stop your senses.
The first Boston Terrier I had was the most brilliant dog I’ve ever come in contact with. Even outsmarted my German Shepherd at every turn. And other then when someone wanted to play with him, he was a rather calm and chill little guy. Later on I found out even though he looked mostly like a Boston, he was mixed with pitbull. Perhaps that made the difference in intelligence/demeanor? Because when my mom got a Boston a few years after Baba died, imagine my surprise when I found out her little guy, as cute and sweet as he is, is all looks no brains, and shoots around like a lightning bolt 24/7. …And they both stank/stink!!! 🤣 Thank you so much for the accurate af video. lol
I adopted a Boston that I believe is mixed with a pitbull (I know he isn't a pure Boston despite being told he was by the people I adopted him from) and I can concur; this dog is one smart cookie. Oddly, haven't encountered a whole lot of tooting.
I have a Boston/Beagle mix, and yeah, she’s basically if you sent a Beagle to do cocaine in Disney World. She can make noises that are not of this realm.
OMFG I swear to a T on point. A Boston Terrier showed up in a rainstorm and was terrified and he immediately thought it was one of ours since we have many rescues. He brought the dog up to the door, the dog ran into our house and as he was running to the doggie bed by the fireplace he farted the whole was and I have never smelled anything that bad. We used to give him medicine to help it but it didn't. But he was one hell of a dog. He was my daughter's baby. RIP: Adrian !!!
Have you seen the movie "Best in Show"? It's hilarious and I'm suddenly reminded of the song "God Loves a Terrier" ... if you ever do the Norwich Terrier you should make reference to their "cute little 'derrier'" & quote the song. 😂
As someone who just recently got diagnosed at 17 and therefore has spent most of her teenage with undiagnosed ADHD, I assure you I have the attention span of a golden retriever but the attitude of a husky/chihuahua. ( Hey i am not proud of it!!)
Everytime I get a RU-vid notification I get excited hoping you uploaded a new vid. Almost every other notification is just a big disappointment! 😂 Love your stuff.
My friend who has had a bunch of BTs might agree with you, but as the one who would occasionally doggie-sit them, I take issue with "not a mean bone in their bodies."
I would love to see how different dog breeds act in a classroom. Like how the Border Collie is the smartest of them all, knows every answer, and accelerates at phy-ed. Then there’s the American Bulldog- asleep at the desk. What breed would be THAT popular girl? 🧐
