My husky knows the word "move", because he stands in my way so much, so I also say "move" when I want my spot on the couch. He'll look at me, stand up, spin in a circle, and plop down in the same spot!😂
Which makes it awkward, because Great Danes are apparently just being invented. Though definitely appropriate, and kind of funny if doing some sort of “God exists outside time” thing.
@@ZanderMGanaden no he's a Dane. Another fun fact they consulted with a great Dane breeding expert on the best and worst traits in a 'purebred great dane' and purposely gave Scooby all the worst traits 😂
My aunt had a Great Dane. Size of a damned pony. The first time I went to their house I was sitting on the couch and this giant dog came over. He looked at me. Turned around so his butt was facing me…turned his head so he could look over his shoulder…then slooooowly backed up until his rump hit my lap….then sat down on me. ISTG I could hear the *beep beep beep* of a construction truck backing up 😭
I find this hilarious and I feel sorry for you,but you had it easy,my cousin had a Great Dane and when it was younger I went to visit,I sat on the couch and that thing just yeeted itself on me and wouldn't get off.
@@user-cm2uz6dt8j Used to have two dobermen. Wonderful lap dogs after they get settled. Before? It feels like meaty sticks and teeth trying to get comfy.
@@myparentsaredivorced4573 Ha! i have a very big and quite fat female pitbull. She thinks she’s as light as a feather, so she always collapses onto you. She’s still very good at being a lap dog, though.
@@vicentegarcia6400 Nuh hun ! We have an agreement with Him ! He swear to never do it again ! What do you think rainbow are for ? It is THE ark of the covenant ! ^^
@jason_night23 he's talking about the actual scripture God promised to never flood the earth again and when Jesus comes back the world will be destroyed with fire
I grew up with Great Danes and they permanently affected my idea of what size dogs should be. I look at, like, a Labrador and I'm just going, 'Oh, what a cute little dog' :)
"Make it the size of a horse" - My childhood neighbor owned a Great Dane, and I remember trying to ride it when I was 4 or 5 yrs old. They are gentle dogs
I’m just now imagining you getting on it falling off and then the Great Dane to put it head on your lap Anyways I tried to do the same thing with a blue heeler saint did not like being touch when lying down or eating
It's illegal for a Scooby-Doo show without Scooby-Doo (edit) Thank you all so much for these likes it just made my year being so happy knowing this have an amazing year
True but seeing how the show turned out I think it was best that they didn’t add Scooby to the show, I mean for all we could know he could’ve turned out as a Chihuahua or a terrier. Some things aren’t ment to happen and this is one we should be glad that didn’t happen
@@gotmemes7090 nah, seeing how the show came out it should never have been made 💀, like if you’re gonna make a show without the main character, don’t change all the characters to the point that they don’t look or act anything like the characters besides clothes and names that’s barely a spin-off just a fan fic with popular character names, and if you’re gonna do all that please for the love of god use half decent writing or make the characters not unbearably unlikeable, I hope people forget about it and just write it off as a bad show to be lost to time
Don't watch it. Both sides of the political isles hate it. The right because it is full of radical far left talking points and the left because "it's a psyop from the right to make us look bad." Don't watch it.
They really are. One is a regular at our kennel and I'm pretty sure all the aggression that should've gone to him ended up in the little mobile mop he's friends with. He also *really* wants to give hugs. I'm terrified of what'll happen if he successfully gives me one.
Our female Boston Terrier would climb my aunt's fence with its back legs (front legs on the ground) and pee backwards through the fence at my aunt's neighbor's dog...a Great Dane. That poor dog just wants to be fence friends, and mine just treated her so badly. 🤷
When I was about 6 or 7 my family has a large Great Dane which to me was a literal giraffe. I remember whenever I sat down to watch TV Abby would walk over to me and lay down, she was very sweet and protective of my family. I will never forget her though
It’s not impossible that all moments of time happen simultaneously…and we humans are limited to specific a perception of time ie remembering the past, experiencing the present and planning for the future
Can confirm, my first dog ever, got her 2 years ago, is a Great Dane. She is the sweetest, stupidest, lovable caring giant ball of energy ive ever had the pleasure of being with.
"THEIR DOING WHAT!? I FLOODED THE EARTH BEFORE I'LL DO IT AGAIN" "what going on?" "Someone made a Scooby Doo show without Scooby Doo" "THEY WHAT??" "THATS WHAT I SAID"
As a person who's mom owns 4 great danes and a doggy day care I can confirm they are the size of a horse and as gentle as a mouse Edit:I come back to see 913 likes, HOW?! MOOOM IM FAMOUS
I have never actually seen a Great Dane but the thought of big dogs have short lifespan makes me not want to have any big dogs but I want to pet a gentle giant at least once. They are so cute.
@@myentertainmentmypuppies8865 I've had a Great Dane. We had to put him down at the age of 6. He was an amazing dog but I probably won't have another Dane for a while because it's such a short life span, I can't handle that too many times in a row 😅😔
@@racheljsedgwick I know the pain of losing a beloved dog, 2 were old 1in accident each one was special. No one can replace those even though they will bring new joy. Sorry for your loss.
I grew up with a Great Dane named Nicole. She was the smartest and most gentle dog ever. My mom would tell her to watch us kids, and she would not let us leave the backyard. She would even pin us against the side of the house! We would scream and cry until my mom came! She would let us ride her like a horse and come give each child a kiss before we went to sleep. I loved her so much
As an owner of many Great Danes, they are indeed the size of pony’s, yet afraid of horses if they have not been socialized with them before, and indeed lapdogs. They are so snuggly and sweet and warm and great family dogs. They don’t bark, and they are just happy to be around their people.
@@Noxuren1 ah, I see I guess that is a typical stereotype about the german language; that it is an aggressive sounding language? I'd love to learn it myself or maybe just hear it more so I could learn to appreciate it Also, sorry if you don't understand what I'm saying because I responded in english (assuming you don't understand english) I understood a little bit of what you said on my own, but Google Translate helped me with most of it
At the doggy daycare I worked at there was a huge 160 lb Great Dane who was so gentle, all the tiny dogs adored him and followed him around. They'd walk around his feet like a little school of fish. 😂
My Great Dane was the sweetest girl! One of the best dogs we ever had. I was totally fine letting her think she was a tiny lapdog and loved rubbing her ears. If I did it a certain way, she'd close her eyes, press her head into my hand and groan. I miss her and her silliness every day.
Thank you, guys. Your sympathy is very kind. We lost her 10 years ago, so it is especially kind of you guys. She was 11 years old when she had to be put down. 11 beautiful years...
Most likely as they don’t have anything to fill the original purpose I dong believe your a hunter so ya it’s like my family’s pit bull He doesn’t have any jobs ment for his breed such as babysitting so he gets lazy as fuck
"God, bro, what about the rainbow tho?" "The what now?" "Isn't it supposed to be a promise that you'll never flood the Earth again?" "Who TOLD you that? I was just messing around, came up with some pretty colours in the sky, and zoned out after that"
I have 3 mastiff-st Bernard mixes from the same litter. My mom's st Bernard was knocked up by somebody's mastiff and nobody knew when or how. Anyway, they're each over 250 lbs and they all want to lay on top of me whenever I just want to take a nap under one of my apple trees in my back yard. Sometimes, I'll look out back and see one of them bite down on a fallen apple like the Tootsie Pop owl bite into a sucker.
I work at a doggy day care and we have a Great Dane named Blue that comes in all the time. You could ride this dog into battle like a warhorse, he's still a puppy, and is 100% convinced he's only the size of his head. Like does not realize theres a small horse body below his neck. I love Blue lol
My friend has a Great Dane and whenever her dad is in his recliner, the dog will proceed to very slowly make his way into the dad’s lap over the course of about 20 minutes. It’s as if he thinks that if he moves slowly enough, they won’t realize what he’s doing 😂
