To me...this wasn't rap... but story-telling and i understood every freaking word! I discovered Tom last year and have been a fan ever since. Not a rap fan, but Tom is a sorty teller..HIS story! HIS feels, and HIS talent with lyrics is a talent... truly a gift From UP ABOVE!

What i like about Tom and this song. Is when he talks about drink and drugs and how he made it big and his formula on how he did it. Yet same poor people on his old neighbourhood still stuck on the booze and drugs Tom's dissapointment is he's shown people the way out yet they remain the same still getting angry at the world. Tom's taking care of his family. What are those people doin' in his old hood?. Taking care of there family?. Or there self pity addictions?. Tom's keeping it real good for him much respect.
