Now I'm feeling motivated to go emulate gow 3 on PC again. Still, wish i had a ps3 to play it, not sure if there's been any performance development for this game with pc emulation
You can play the remaster on the PS4 and PS5 - I think that's more than fair. This isn't an MGS 4 or Ascension situation where the game is stuck on the PS3... admittedly, I have not used my family's PS5 for much outside of Ragnarök (now coming to PC) and GoW 3
God of war 3 shows you dont need a giant open world, Ludicrous amount of builds and roguelike elements for replay value. A great combat system is more than enough to keep replaying.
Yeah, like that's an issue for all the challenge runners who went back to it. And there's also the 'Challenges of Exile', or the different costumes (other than fanmade challenge runs).
@MrWright I dont consider challenge runs as a replay value you can replay any game with a challenge run a replay value when the game let me replay it with everything I got from my previous play through and not bother with any exploration or level up like gow2 or the Norse games I replayed those 3 games hundreds times while gow3 and 1 I did only 5 play through its a shame since gow 3 combat is better than gow2
>can replay any game with a challenge run That's the point. If games lack this, players can create it themselves. They don't need an in-game reason to get back to it. You could also explore mechanics you neglected in previous playthroughs. >did more playthroughs for nuGoW The games with significantly more downtime than GoWIII? Wasn't this your major issue for not replaying it? There's also the NG+ glitch if that's another element needed for you to get back to it. >5 playthroughs for 1 and 3 Other than Very Hard often being locked behind a playthrough, there's also the different costumes, and again, the 'Challenges' in the Extra menu. This goes for both 1 and 3. >3's combat is better than 2's Dem's fightan words.
@MrWright you didn't even get my point I didn't replay gow 3 ,1 as much as gow2 and Norse games because of one feature ng+ I dont want to go through leveling my weapons and health every play through or waiting to get the weapons again . A down time in Norse games which all I have to do is just hold one or two button's until the next encounter isn't much of hassle like going through upgrading my weapons every time to unlock the full move set or upgrading my health and magic and gow3 doesn't let me skipp cutscenes and the cutscenes in it is 2and half hour long per play through For me if the game doesn't have ng+ then it doesn't have replay value I'm not going to bother to make it more replayable if the devs didn't and even when they released the remastered version of gow3 on the ps4 they didn't even try to add ng+
>Pricey Missed you too, dad. Pricey, but another perfect place to use it, since we get a refill when faced with Zeus. >Tailspin pickups You should see Zim's new infinite air grab loop on these gawts. It's a new video. His latest. Titled: New Tech
@@ExtremeGameplays1 >dad Granddad. We start young, live hard and go fast in the online world. HABEEB ET. >perfect place It'll be more perfect when modded to not be overpriced. >should see You imagine I didn't? Get any good toilet reading done, lately? Perhaps of the extensive backlog for evaluations and run coverage on offer? NOTE: ER DLC dropped, so now I have to see what's changed.
@@ExtremeGameplays1 >post erased YT gettin' slick wit' it. >dad Granddad (not like the adoptive one that had his way with Gokek tho). >perfect place Would be more perfect with proper pricing (among other adjustments noted before). Perhaps someday we'll be able to do something about it. Fix what Jason botched. >refill at Zeus That doesn't help us with efficiency. One would like to be able to use resources more than just at the end. Had it been more like GoW1/GoWII, the story would be quite different (even before the PS2 era statue balancing). And it ain't like you even want the MP for ZOOSE with how that fight works. All these fights are optional, but one would prefer they take less time. >should see I'd already commented on it before your post was sent. Being available for lvl1 helps (since the DMG of the spells isn't the point). How much longer until the CoH focused runs? Donte said you were just livin' life, but my guess was more accurate (Metal Gear).
@@BigVEE >CoH when Bit busy with car stuff and work. Gaming side is occupied with MGR, for now. GoW stuff? Only got the God of War 2 HOMO run active. I might do the CoH in the upcoming days.
It made some improvements, but also some steps back, though most of the latter can easily be missed if you're not a series vet. Overall, GoW2 is noticeably better, and GoW1 can be argued as being better too, even though I have 3 very slightly above it.
