What's funny is THAT representation of Thor in Norse mythology is more accurate. Although to be fair, I was hoping he looked like the one from Marvel universe. Seeing Chris Hemsworth and Kratos butting heads would have been the stuff of legends.
i dont think thor was ever fat. he was more like strong man build. hes chubby but not every step ripples fat waves along his body. i dont really consider this version they are using as fat, but strong man build. hes obviously going to have some insulation but he is still a powerful god.
Well there's a consistent theme of magic in Norse Mythology of how certain things just kind of *work*. Freya making everything in the universe promise not to hurt Baldur, Odin literally stealing Freya's fighting spirit, Mimir being physically unable to tell Kratos and Atreus what Baldur's weakness is, etc.
What’s amazing is that it’s hard to tell wether or not Jormungandr is a NPC or not. True he interacts with the characters, but only in cutscenes. Anything else’s and he’s just apart of the landscape. Even if you throw the axe at him there’s no reaction compared to any regular NPC
He probably doesn't feel the axe much considering his size, most likely feels like having one tiny needle thrown at you probably wouldn't have a reaction if you didn't see it.
@@theaverageash it's funny the makers probably didn't do a thorough job researching the lore for this part, once Jörmungandr let's go of his tail Ragnarök starts
@@raymondmacdonald2464 Mimir mentions that Kratos has changed how Ragnarok shall occur. Given Jormungandr is not meant to even be born yet its safe to say this is more of a change to the mythology rather then a simple error.
If I can remember, Odin cut ties with the Giants so the Giants closed off their land, something along those lines. I remember from the game that Odin was very egocentric and constantly clashed views with the giants wanting them dead.
Maybe because the only person he could've learnt it from when he grows up is a polyglot, namely his father Loki? Not confirmed but I believe this might be a Bootstrap Paradox scenario.
