Dude it takes skill to time all the moves and keep the enemies in check or rather in a corner to just keep wailing on them. I know because I practice and it's difficult for me, at least so I know it's skill.

There is no axe level in Valhalla, where have you seen my axe level? If you're talking about the fact that the axe glows, it's due to a glyph: Axe Attunement (increase base damage of the Axe)
