Freya taking Kratos's body everytime after killing him is creepy because it can be implied that she'll just revive him again like she did with Mimir just to torture him some more. Or, in her own words "Parade his corpse on the corner of every realm"

Freya's reasoning for wanting to kill Kratos was beyond stupid. Even in failed QTEs its so irritating seeing this lunatic get her way like that. It's bizarre how Kratos snaps at every other character the second they threaten Atreus, but just because Freya saved his life he's willing to risk everything by not putting her down knowing just how dangerous and relentless she is.

@@Beforezzz I mean then what was the point of saving her? Just to kill her? At that rate, Baldur should of choked her to death and Kratos just stands there and let it happen then, based on your logic.

@@Hunterese123 I suspect Kratos figured Freya would obviously be angry with him but eventually come to terms and realize that he did what needed to be done. That leaves one person dead instead of two, because chances are Kratos would be forced to put down Baldur anyway. I just find Kratos' attempts at reasoning inconsistent when he's made it clear that he'll engage anyone who threatens him or his son. He was ready to fight just before Freya let her grudge go. So what was the point of continually running away from her as she's trying to kill him if Kratos was going to stand his ground later?

@@Beforezzz I'm not quite getting what you're trying to saying. Why wouldnt he run from her when both options lead to outcomes he doesnt want? Hard to reason with someone whose actively trying to kill you. And not once does freya ever go for Atreus. She only wants to kill Kratos I thought that was pretty obvious.

i like thor's explanation for just waiting instead of hitting him with the pillar "catch your breath, we arent through here" the game has so many small details that make it so much better even on second playthroughs (arguably better than the first as you notice a lot more things hidden in plain sight)

Many of these seem to depend on the amount of health you have. If you have full health then it takes a while. If you are low on health then it's fast.

I miss when God of War QTEs felt like a legit life or death moment you had to be on point and on your toes to get. Put you in the shoes of a warrior like Kratos who cheats death every second of every fight. Now they've removed the "quick" from quick time events, and the winning result of pressing the button correctly is now either getting to a cutscene quicker or just preventing a character from looking embarrassing. Why even put them there at all?
