If Anyones curious the entire season of god of work is on jirards RU-vid where it’s an hour long with 6 episodes in case you want a more convenient way to watch
This is the most ridiculous thing on the interwebs and i love it. More!!! More!! The Elizabeth Holmes impression was so great! Oh and you guys could've had such a great "Seven" movie joke with the box! Missed opportunity but great as always!
Idk if you watched it during Jirard's watch party on Twitch for the release , but if not ,Jirard and a bunch of the cast were there giving little tidbits about making the show . It was amazing . And apparently in the scene between Kratos and "Trey" reconciling a bit ,Jake's tears were actually legit tears that he managed to summon up for that moment ... Gave a whole different vibe to that scene. Everyone who worked on this show is so damn talented ! Can't wait for season 2 !
And when we attack everyone else for not being what we want, we’re in the wrong. That’s how assholes getting mad at this channel were. Just ignore it and move on if it offends you, stop attacking people and wishing pain on them.
Are you talking about the episode? Cause I’m sure this episode was filmed before that happened. And the workers didn’t know the layoffs were going to happen.
The episode was filmed months ago and had nothing to do with the layoffs. They're all up on Jirard's page and we're posted there almost a month ago now
This episode summarize everything that is happening in G4 right now. It's like Jirard is sensing this to happen and made it as a series. God speed Jirard!
i know ragnarok was filmed and produced well before everything that happened last week, and on its own is a hilarious episode, but now the ACTUAL layoffs really cast a shadow over it. i was honestly wondering if they were even going to post it on the xplay channel, given the climate now.
I honestly didn’t want to comment bc i THOUGHT this was lame. But the attention to details to both on a cinematographic aspect to both references (The Office x GoW) i give a thumbs up - especially the part in beginning Kratos wanted to embrace his son 🤣
Pretty much. With Kevin leaving in October and the layoffs they won't have the talent to keep the channel alive when they were already fighting an uphill battle since if they cut out the skit shows which is their intention they don't have much on any credible youtube/twitch personality. It's not as if they have a larger platform to draw in talent to their channel so now the large talents will simply stick to their own platforms leaving G4 to hire sub-par 'talent' until it eventually caves. In terms of gaming news there are other channels out there with press passes and an established audience that has significantly less overhead than essentially a youtube channel trying to be a cable channel because those other channels like Eurogamer or Outside Xbox don't have the tv executives siphoning off money while not really bringing money into the channel making them far more sustainable than G4s model in this day and age. Bottomline is the only thing G4 had that some guy in his mom's basement couldn't do is sketch comedy shows with an assorted cast and even some of the youtube channels run by minimal staff can pull those off as well.
@@chocobojam8776 Actually I'm not, I clicked this to see if it was a new episode of this particular series, but it wasn't. I stopped regularly tuning into G4 when Frosk went on her rant, G4 supported that rant, and Sesslar proved himself to be a downright repugnant human being albeit one that was good at his job unlike Frosk who wasn't. They had a few decent new era hosts, but that was overshadowed by their politics, lack of production value compared to what you can get from other similar shows. They're a relic, there's a reason G4 failed to begin with and there's a reason they failed now. Kevin and Attack of the Show was what was going to delay the death of the channel and he announced his departure and prior to that they announced that they were going to stop the variety show style skits they did for the channel ergo there isn't much reason to watch G4 over the other reputable gaming news channels especially since the major talent is leaving and there's little hope moving forward. To be clear I would have liked to see them succeed with a quality product, but they opted to back poor politics when they were already fighting an uphill battle to be successful. They were always going to be short lived, the recent events have just accelerated the time table to their own destruction. Booting Frosk now is a Pyrrhic victory since they lost so many others from their staff and hurt their viewer loyalty.
