God knows me better than I do so I didn’t make a list. I’m tailor made for my spouse, we were chosen for each other before we were born. Our stories are already written by the Author and Finisher of our faith.

This Christian guy at my job told me that God told him that I’m the woman he’s supposed to be pursuing & then proceeded to try to force himself on me physically 😭… gotta be careful with people claiming that God told them something 32:24

creating a list is super important, i even told God physical attributes i consider attractive in a guy because he cares about the little things, i love this, it gives me hope to know that the little things that might seem careless are very important to God.

I love your story but just so you know there is no coincidence with God he is intentional and purposeful it was all meant to be. God blessed your beautiful marriage

I made a list. #1 on the list is 'A Godly man that I'm attracted to.' and everything else that follows. I want to be transparent and authentic with God. I don't want to push aside my desires in the name of not wanting to seem shallow. I am willing to allow God to take the lead without idolizing the list but I do look forward to seeing how my parents and list aligns with my future partner. I like how you both broke down the meaning of 'The List' and I didn't view it that way and it's been years. My Mom broke it down to me how I have to be willing to compromise not on non-negotiable but things that can be negotiated. I also love the journaling because I love journaling and that area of self-reflection starts with going back to what you've written. Great topic.
