The first story is one I love hearing. He mentions it in a Q&A session at a Conference at Desert Springs Church. David Patterson was the gentleman's name. (He's since passed away). As a young man who has felt a calling and an inadequacy to preach God's Word, this story really encouraged me. I listen to Alistair on a regular basis. Refreshing to be reminded that The Lord uses people to both encourage us and tell us the truth to help us grow in The Lord.
