God will interrupt your plans for HIS purpose. If you feel like your plans are being interrupted and you're worried or you just don't know what God is doing, this Philippians 1 Bible study video is for you. We're going to look at a story that shows us this truth: when God interrupts your plans, it's for HIS purpose - and boy, is His purpose GOOD...even when it's hard. A time God "interrupted" my plans but I saw His GOOD purpose in it was actually when we were wedding planning! We loved this one venue but the doors kept closing to it and it didn't make sense to us. But He used that to redirect us to the venue we did get married at which ended up not only having a super special story (shared it here: bit.ly/40MaAPb☺) but we absolutely loved it and we later found out there were some reasons the original venue would not have been good...so God was totally sparing us. A lighthearted example, but an encouraging reminder that He has a purpose in the little AND the big things! I'd love to hear your testimonies below! 🤍

Looks like he interrupts my plans now, ie. scientific. For the 'unknown' reason of 'putting Him first' and 'above science or pseudoscience', which we can touch, observe, measure and proof. It's a hard one, but I understand that HIS purpose for me is higher than that, even if ALL MY PLANS ARE RUINED now and I wake up at ZERO level after 20 years of hard work... aaaaand every single Christian I meet says: it's good and it's just a beginning of your relationship with God - no matter how strange and out of this Planet it sounds!

One situation of God interrupting my plans was when I was forced to quit a job due to unforeseen circumstances. However, a few months later I was blessed with an incredible experience to work at a Christian summer camp. Let me just say, the Spirit was alive and active at that camp. Thousands of campers gave their lives to Jesus over the summer and incredible friendships and memories were formed. I am grateful for God’s “no” which led to a better “yes”.

I’m not gonna lie, I am anxious. I felt like God said to quit my job and so I did. My dog died less than a week after I became unemployed. I have $8000 in vet bills. I had plans to start a daycare, but I can’t (I also feel like God might not be leading me to do it). I live alone and have bills to pay. I don’t know where God is going to take me next but I’m sure he’ll provide for me. I feel doubtful about his provision though. I am entirely alone and lost but still trying to have faith. I keep falling into ways of coping that don’t involve Him. I keep screwing up instead of running towards Him. And with all of the time I have on my hands, instead of pursuing him, I distract myself from reality.

I know exactly how you feel. But don't worry. The word tells us to fear not, God works all things out for the good of those who love Him, even our past mistakes. Here's a msg from the late Dr Charles Stanley. I listen to hus sermons everyday. I find them very encouraging in the word. My plans were interupted when i had a health emergency as a caregiver 2 weeks ago. I dont think about me. I almost died many times but before surgery ( no time to see husband or loved ones before life saving surgery) i cried in the elevator in the wheelchair. Feeling guilty i wasnot home helping our medically fragile teen daughter and the nurse and anesthethiologist said sorry we act like this is so routine i know it is scary…. My turn. What do i say. This could be my literal last words to another human…. I said Its ok. I understand the risks. I love Jesus and I know it will be ok❤. They smiled and said ya. My thinking was im either seeing the face of God soon or He is not done with me yet and I will trust Him❤

Thank you! This is very convicting and encouraging at the same time. I feel like so many of my plans have been interrupted for years by the consequences of being put on Benzodiazepines at a young age when I had my first panic attack. It’s a long story but I think God has used it and is still using it for my good, His glory and for the good of others. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

My plans were interrupted a month ago I was gonna move in with this female that I do bible study with.. everything was set & in motion 💯 a few days after planning everything I was listening to worship music on my phone & my phone glitched & went out on its own😭 God had made a way for my phone to get fixed 🙌🏼 i reached out to the girl & now she saying she doesn’t have the room for rent smh 😭 can ya pray for me please 🥺 I feel like my plans were interrupted frfr 🥺😩

Hi Kaci, you articulate the scripture very well. I just want to say thank you for these videos. My wife and I were recently studying Ephesians and we liked how you discussed the scripture and how it relates to our daily life. Also, with regards to this message, I have found myself in situations where I did not understand why God changed my perfect plan, only to realize it became completely different and even better. I often reflect on these circumstances and use these moments as a confirmation of Gods will, and his way of reminding us that he is in control and to remain faithful in him alone.
