Sri Sathya Sai Baba often thunders in His discourses, "You may be in the forests or the skies;
You may be in the city or the village; You may be on the hill or in the valley below; Sai will always find you and bless you." This is the touching story of Swami Purushottamananda who sought to come 'face to face with the ultimate reality' for more than 30 years in an inaccessible cave.
Today, that cave has become a popular spot to visit for tourists and spiritual aspirants alike and is called the Vashishta Gufa (the cave of sage Vasishta of the Ramayana fame). But when Swami visited it in 1957, even his own entourage grumbled and complained! But that did not stop Him from visiting the cave and Swami Purushottamananda, thrice!
The story that unfolded is heartening and it gives us the motivation to constantly seek God and God alone.
