-What's the real reason behind "Galacticos"? -What was Real Madrid like before Florentino Perez? -How did he earn his money? -Shady schemes? Watch until the end to find out! #florentinopérez #realmadrid #galácticos #ronaldo
Don't forget he founded a construction company and made it one of the biggest in the world. He is a Forbes billionaire managing two multinationals: ACS and Real Madrid. I'm surprised that Football and Business magazines dont interview him. The guy is a genious.
Looking at billionaires like Zuckerberg or musk letting Zionists use their platforms to peddle hate and falsehood, Perez is The Apostle John among billionaires @@BaxsStudios
I call him the godfather. For some who runs a club without any known sporting director, he deserves every accolade. He's someone whom I would like to meet someday
Dude, the President's Requirements are accurate. It's one of the biggest brands, not just a Sports Club. The One who thinks to run for the President should have qualified for these requirements. Florentino Perez is the real Godfather of being a sports President. The best one ever.
One key perez policy that impacted madrid financial health is his (unofficial) salary cap. 1. Madrid year on year in average (for the past 5-10 years) spend around 250-300 million usd per year on player salary. Despite having leeway to spend up to 700mio as per FFP limits (for 2023-2024). In comparison, Barcelona before (actually they are already in, they just hide it lol) their financial trouble, (i am refering to the very last year they still has messi) spend 385mio/year on player salary. 2. Madrid highest paid player ever is of course CR7, paid around 37 mio / year during their peak of winning UCL back to back. These 37 mio however is only half messi salary (75mio/year). In fact it's only same with what barcelona paid to samuel umtiti and gerard pique. CR7 ask for raise? He got sold instead :D 3. Jump to 2024, ,madrid current highest paid player is toni kroos (26mio usd / year), their young pilalrs (Vini, Jude) is around 22mio / year On the other hand, Barcelona even with all the salary cuts last two years, still pay Frenkie De Jong 40mio usd this year (they need to sell this guy quick tbh) 4. However it's not without drawback. SALARY IS THE MAIN REASON MADRID AND MBAPPE TRANSFER FAILED FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS. Perez only want to pay Mbappe 25 mio per year max. Need to keep it similar as Vini and Jude (to keep harmony in the locker room among their future stars) Problem is, Mbappe is paid 75MIO PER YEAR in PSG. Honestly unless Mbappe want to take 70% salary cut, it''s impossible for it to happen. TL;DR Perez is stingy old man. However because of that, Madrid is financially healthy.
"Do you want the money or do you want the glory" he ask james Rodriguez when he wanted more in 2014. Not only do they get paid in Madrid but they also get the glory when playing for them.
Real Madrid is one of the few clubs that earns it's revenue from fan support because they have such a massive loyal global dedicated fanbase they earn it from merchandise ticket sales paraphernalia
The land sale deal was investigated by the EU and was deemed legal. To be allowed, a lot of entities had to give their okay (local government, neighbours....etc). Those lands were turned into Madrid's biggest business center, brining a lot of value to the city. It's a win-win type of deal. Credit to Santiago Bernabeu for having the foresight to buy that land back when it was worthless if anything. ACS was never involved in any operation while Florentino is president of the club, he's not that dumb to put himself in the crosshair like that. Having clout doesn't make you bad or shady. It's what all clubs do actually. He's good at it is the problem for some.
You forgot to mention one important point when you spoke about the glacticos my friend, he is the man who created copy rights share for the club with 50% for each player starting from the glacticos. Now, every club applies this law on their superstar
He is the best eg on how much commitment a president or owner of club should show to his club.real madrid had 2 of legendary presidwnts-santiago bernabeau and florentino perez, infact two of most influential and best presidents of all time.
I think you should have more respect when refering to the greatest President’s club ever... You presented the video and some facts with an agenda to make it sound doggy... Respect Hala Madrid.
The idea of the super league was innovative and it was a solution to save clubs as well we all know that Uefa has a monopoly over football and they amass billions of revenues from the backs of clubs yet they give crumbs to all 32 teams that compete in their higher competition the UCL when the Covid strike and clubs struggled financially some lower tiers were dissolved Eufa didn't even try to save or help those clubs while still having billions going into their pockets the idea is that the clubs themsleves run the competitions not the Uefa I really was disappointed by the demonazation from Uefa and it's allies PSG the oil money clubs and the major broadcasters like Skysports who created hatred campaigns using former players like caragher and Neville to deceive the English fans in particular because those channels Will have to negotiate directly with the clubs not with the corrupt organization of Uefa they are for sure got paid for it. The football needed a super legaue in which clubs generate money by playing big matches and the money generated will also cover the lower tier clubs. Now we've seen the new champions league format adding games it's like you can't have a super legaue but if I do it it's OK
your video is grossly inaccurate in some areas, aND LACKS IMPORTANT INFORMATION IN OTHERS. YOU ALSO SPEW A LOT OF UNSUBSTANTIATED catalan and barca propaganda
Great video. Just one thing you've got to improve and that is to add some music during transitions (e.g. 6:18).
The best president in my club's history next to Don Santiago Bernabeu. I only wish technology could make him immortal, so he could preside our club forever. Grande Tito Floren! Gracias por tanto 🤍🤍🤍
Except Nadal-Djokovic rivalry was at peak & loved till 2013-14 after that Djokovic started getting hate. Federer could never match the intensity of Nadal-Djokovic in 2010-2014
Does anyone think RM signed James and Chicharito just for ACS to get projects for a few hundreds of millions in Colombia and Mexico? Really? ACS makes more than 100M a day! They have projects all around the world in more than 30 countries, mostly in United States and Australia. Where are the american players? Lol
R.Madrid even had to deal with more than 30 years of a corrupt referee organisation paid by F.C. Barcelona (Barcelonagate - Negreira). Now, PSG and Chelsea F.C. know what that feels. Edit: I suppose that Ceferin (UEFA CEO) doesn't want to investigate the Turkey's Negreira and Unicef's deal with F.C. Barcelona some years ago in the Champions League.
How does buying a player help you get a construction contract. The players don’t belong to the country. They belong to clubs. And all those 3 players played in Europe.
Perez do want he need to do for Real Madrid good .. he said this ..he love Real more then anything every club want a Don Perez President that's why we love him he need a statue outside of bernabéu
I don’t know about that I think a better comparison is owner Robert Craft of the New England patriots since him and Perez had have major success.Jerry Jones has made the cowboys valuable but hasn’t had any championship success since 1995 when they last won the superbowl and haven’t had any playoffs success ever since.
Ohh cmon, totally false on Calderon who in with cahoots with Pedja laundered money through overpaying on the dutch and argentinian players. Remember, dutch colony: nistelrooy, sneijder, v d vaart, huntelaar, robben, drenthe And the arhentinian one through the likes of pipita, gago, heinze etc. Don't forget they chased Capello away immediately after winning la liga title, after they used the calciopoli exodus to their advantage through him (cassano, emerson, heinze, cannavaro). The whole roster was all over the place and mediocre.
I don't like they tome of this videoo. Wtf Dis You say ay they end??????????? Dió You know ir was BARCA WHO Pat they vice president of referees For 17year right
perez ruined imo generic football. i don't mind the galacticos, in all honesty i supported this idea from the get go. i mean as a kid i myself made up all star 11's daily. but he ruined the concept of transfers as a mean to upgrade the team you have to something that needs a fix every 6 months resulting in the unhealthy high transfer fees which led to the unsustainable agent fees which also led to leagues selling their souls for more economical prowess (i.e. epl) which led to more explosive player wages which is ultimatively leading to all top5 leagues finding ways to stay competitive just in form of offering players the same wages that real, barca, epl clubs and psg can. that's why top clubs have adapted to the borussia dortmund approach recruiting mega talents while they are affordable to either use them as capital increase or implement them if they are world class while under 20. which leads to "lesser" clubs in the top 5 leagues bleeding out cause their youth hardly can compete with all the massive talent that was acquired by clubs such as city, bayern, psg, real and barca. it is time for the associations to take charge again and punish clubs that exploit like this. fuck perez. and everybody that denies this is lying to themselves. why do you think that perez is so desperate to install the super ligue. he needs that cause the avalanche he caused is turning into an unsustainable bubble that can explode every moment. and to avoid that they have to milk the cow every way possible to postpone that from happening. kiss your favorite traditional clubs goodbye cause clubs are on the verge of killing their future (chelsea, manutd, bayern,....).
