Yeah that fungle miss was bad but those other legendaries weren't that good. Jax might have been marginally better.

In case you are wondering how he healed so much: he played the 1 mana 0/3 dragon egg on turn 1 and the 2/3 give a friendly +1 spell damage. Later in the game i fucking had him, I was starting to loose board advantage though, so i had to hurry. I somehow got the biggest cards in my deck (funglemancer) so i was able to last a while and get the board back, the dude healed for 12 becouse of a 4/4 leech while i was getting my board back. Whatever right? I had him with like 12 health and he had 1 to 3 cards in his hand, i had none but his empty board (exept for the goddam egg with spell damage) vs my 7/6 and 8/8 were a big advantage, he had 12 health, he gets the deal 5 heal 5 +1 spell damage and survives. I get some small guys and have lethal again, the dude plays five 2/1s that heal him for 10 and avoid lethal. I'm ready for lethal once again and go face with everything, leaving him at like 4 health and my hunter hero power can finish him off, again i have board advantage, he heals for 14 damn health with spirit lash and clears my board. I DONT WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME ANYMORE

Of course it is situational, but menace is overall a 3 mana 5/3 mech which is fine in arena, and while hydra does provide better stats it is very vulnerable vs taunts and small minions. Especially if I have a warlock hero power I absolutely do not want to be taking any extra damage besides what I already do.
