Any thin oil used for tools or machinery is fine. Depending which part of the world you are, it can be known as sewing machine oil, tool oil, or gun oil.
Lube for airbrushes can work although they are thick and difficult to insert into the full joint. A very light machine oil, like sewing machine oil, is the best. This penetrates the joint and the excess can be easily rubbed over the steel with a rag.
Sorry, I don't remember as it's been awhile since we have had them. They are nothing special but basic nippers for model building. They are not so important as their job is just to remove the part from the sprue in preparation of removing the nubs with the GodHand nippers.
