How have they been?

@@jerrybarnes987 they have been great! While they are a bit cumbersome and big, they stay firmly in my ear. The controls are easy and intuitive, and misinputs aren’t a big problem. The sound is great as well! I don’t really have a way of comparing how good the noise cancellation is compared to other options, but I can safely say that they work perfectly for air travel! I think the biggest aspect of these earbuds would be the case honestly, it’s VERY small, and it actually fits and stays in my pocket (unlike the truefree earbud case).

Since im looking to upgrade from the airpods which earbuds are better between the earfun free pros and the soundpeats t2

Are you experiencing it on the left or the right earbud? I'm getting this hiss on the left earbud even with ANC turned off, but other people are getting it on the right earbud or not noticing it at all. To me this suggests bad QC rather than all units being affected. It's rather intermittent, sometimes it doesn't seem to happen right away but starts hissing after about 20 minutes of listening. As for the clipping issue, I do not have this problem as I was told by SoundPeats my unit would be a "new batch" which fixed the clipping distortion. However, the question remains whether this is caused by firmware or hardware. If it's just firmware then it is disappointing as they basically snubbed early customers due to the lack of app/firmware support. One user did receive info from SoundPeats that they might include app support in the future but no promises. In the meantime the unofficial AirReps156X app (which was designed for Airpods clones that use Airoha chipsets) allows you to tweak some ANC and Low Latency settings but nothing is saved and SoundPeats has also disabled the EQ function. It may also be possible to flash firmware with it but I'm not sure where to find them.

Every pair of ANC earbuds/headphones I've ever owned has hissed when nothing is playing.

Really? I've got the Sonicscwbdchqfecno volume. Issues at all. The sound quality is very good for the price.

Agreed, I'm shocked that he didn't notice any hiss. I think there might be a defect though, as some users have been reporting more hiss on the right bud or no hiss at all. Older units also had clipping distortion at higher volumes. It's a real shame their QC is not consistent. My other gripe is that they default to ANC off and passive isolation is not that great, and you must cycle through passthrough to get to ANC mode. Also, sometimes the touch controls on one earbud (especially the right earbud) fail to work until I re-connect the earbuds.

Also couldn't notice any delay, 0 battery issues, they sound great + transparent mode o amazing, feels like you are without any earphones. Another downside for me is the touch controls, personally i would prefer button controls because i always turns them off accidentally

you can enable low latency on the T2 using the AirReps156X app on Android but the connection becomes terrible.

Do you want to just block the noise? Foam earplugs would perform significantly better than any ANC earbuds in the market, just make sure to properly insert them and try a few different sizes.

There is a MPOW M5 Plus being sold in Japan with a USB Type-C charging port and a newer Qualcomm chipset. Pity they don't have ambient mode. .I might have misread you but Q30 has terrible ANC compared to these. I can always hear my fan/heater loudly but barelywith the T2. I have mixed feelings about the sound but overall enjoy it. I like the deep soundstage which gives a bit of "organic" feel, but the upper treble is missing clarity. I feel the Q30 is a bit lacking in treble as well.

@@FrankyboyLegend thanks I'll check on that one! And yes Q30 has great ANC in my opinion, although not as great as the market leaders, the Sony XM4s (although the Sonys don't sound as good as the Q30s).

@@lavidapeligrosa well I use them in an indoor environment with a space heater or fan. In this situation the Q30s don't do very well. The T2 does fairly well but Earfun Free Pro is actually better (but is terrible for outdoor or commuting). My other issue with the Q30 is it doesn't properly remember the ANC setting in the app - it defaults to something only slightly better than outdoor mode.

To be fair, they're pretty good earbuds. I have older model sound peats and recently got airpods, and i prefer the sound peats.

MPOW and Aukey got blacklisted for "bribing" reviews so now the other bribers have taken their place.

I don't mind if they are actually "bribing" if the quality liven up to it., some products need a lot of exposure to be noticed. (especially with something like Apple/airpods is on the martket)

Hi, I used my wife's old Life P2 before getting my T2 just today. The T2 is better in every possible way, there is no comparison for especially music quality - period. Think boom box vs full size home audio system. Clearer, cleaner mids and highs, with subwoofer deep bass that doesn't intrude on them. In fairness, they are not in the same league, the T2 is newer technology with drivers twice the size of the Life P2s, plus have active ANC modes.

And there’s popping cracking sounds here and there whenever I play music in ANC mode.

Mine worked for 2 months and then would not connect to each other. All reset procedures wouldn’t work. Frustrating as I they were good before they stopped working.

@@ajbrannigan4223 I found out that if you put them in the charging case and press 5 times both of the earphones they reset and connect to each other again.

soundcore life A2 NC. I paid $60 for the A2 and $45 for the T2 so at these prices the A2. The A2s have god like call quality and you might consider buying them for the mics alone. The mics just cancel out everything and wipe the floor with the T2s. I used these in a music store where there was music blasting and the caller didn't even know I was there until I told them. I was running next to a busy road side and they couldn't hear the cars but they could hear me clear enough. God-like for outdoor use and some of the best available from wireless earbuds in general. The sound quality is better especially with the App--far superior in my opinion since I know how to EQ but they're less neutral and have a smaller sound stage than the T2s. The app is a bit of a game changer. Controls I place as a Tie. I hate single tap and you can customize the control for the soundcores in the app. with single tap you suffer from the big usual drawbacks of touch controls. However, since the T2s have single tap, they have more controls to take advantage of and are less limited when it comes to casual use. Soundcore should offer single tap in the app but allow you to disable it and it'd be a clear win. The soundpeats have a better fit for some people but no wingtips is such a drawback. They fall out my ears with active use or when eating. The T2s also have far superior battery life a better IPX rating and the ANC is better. T2 ANC definitely cuts out more low frequencies but I think the A2s cut out very slightly more upper midrange frequencies. Some think the ANC is better on the A2s but not to my ears. You are also less reliant on a case. From what I understand, in order to turn the A2s on once they've shut down and you can't really shut them down whenever you want without the case or the app to change the shutdown timer. If you want to keep them on either you disable the timer in the app or you bring the case with you. With the soundpeats you can definitely use them without the case no problem especially with the battery life. If you are concerned with style the T2 are also more stylish and discrete. I ended up giving the T2s away because call quality is important for me and the soundcores just do well enough on everything. The call quality is way above its class as far as tws earbuds go and the sound quality is better than a lot of buds at the same price, they have wing tips an app where you can tweak the sound and controls, ipx5 is more than good enough for practical use, you can use ipx5 in the rain. The ANC has 3 modes and is good enough for typical uses, the battery life is 6.5 hours with anc off and 5.5 with anc on. It has no glaring drawbacks which the T2s do. The biggest drawback is arguably the ANC but at $60 it's at an acceptable level. With sound quality and ANC being the most important factors with the biggest weightings, the gap in sound quality between the A2s and T2s is bigger than the gap in ANC quality.

the Life dot 2 NC and Life A2 NC aren't the same. The difference between the 2 is that the life dot 2 is reported to have 4 mics whereas the life A2 has 6 mics. I can't say that the life dot 2s will have the same godlike call quality. Everything else, as far as people can tell, is identical.

I hear H1 is better than H2. I'm trying to decide between T2 and H1 right now.
