Definitely been there and working on that - putting a man on a pedestal. I had to let go because I began to idolize him and tried to find validation from him.. I wanted him to tell me why I was special instead of recognizing it for myself. Also , low self-esteem and guilt caused me to doubt that my validation could be found in God. Yes!!! Developing emotionally!!!! I have heard and can imagine that marriage requires more emotional maturity than singleness.. Whew!!

This IS Good!!! I dont wanna slip into idolatry and not place unrealistic expectations on the other. I struggled with thinking a relationship or marriage validated me . But im learning I NEED to know my identity in Christ fully!

Been suffering from anxiety for YEARS .. I've prayed ive done everything accept take meds and see a doctor. I know that this affects my relationships and I don't want to go into my next relationship and marriage with this. It also holds me back from reaching my full potential. I don't understand why I suffer from this. It's not extreme but its enough that it affects my life. Please pray for my deliverance

From a Christian and MH clinician, I would say see your medical professional and get consultation from them. God gave us gifts to take care of people. You can get better. 💜

I was in the same place i had anxiety after i had emergency surgery it was so dibilitating i could go to class! It was the 1st time i opened my bible and i read psalm 23 every time i had an attack! And listened to gosple song! I didnt push my self too hard. I also went to therapy also! Now fast forward 2 years i graduated from med school! am baptaized!and serving at my church! now when the thought comes to my mind i say the scripture out loud and my body wouldnt react! He has so much to teach you in every trial! Trust him sister! i will pray for you!
