Jeanine I have been struggling so much with spiritual warfare. Last night I nearly took my life. This morning has been really rough on me but then I saw that you posted, and that gave me hope. Thank you for what you’re doing Jeanine!

God loves you so much. I know life can be so hard. I struggle with sometimes feeling desperate and thinking when is it going to get easier? But the reality is that hardship creates a dependency on Christ like no other. It allows you to operate in complete faith in Him. It's these times when we come to the end of our own strength and have to literally cling to His strength to keep going. Remember, Jesus is our hope. He fights for you, and you are not alone. Completely submerge yourself in Him. Prayer and His Word are so powerful against the enemy, use these spiritual weapons and reach out to other faithful people in your life that you trust to encourage and fight with you. I'll be praying for you sweet girl.

Letting go of a previous 3 year relationship, even though it hurt like heck when he left, was actually a good thing. It made way to free my heart for the man i will marry in June- a man who hears my heart, treasures me and is always there for me no matter what. Hoping this encourages anyone else in a ltr that may not be the right one for them. Its ok to let go. God wants His very best for you so if thats not it, release and trust Him ❤

I can relate to this. I’m 29 and my mom passed away 3 weeks ago from cancer, and she was 47. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever been dealing with. Thank you for talking about the reality of parents being ill 😢 ❤️‍🩹

Thank you so much for not condemning anyone, Jeanine! Any time I have felt condemnation for not reading my Bible has made me avoid God and His word even more. But knowing that God is gracious and forgiving and that my identity in Christ still remains is what encourages me to read His word.

Yes boundaries!! I have tons of experience with navigating this with my husband and I and we battled this in the beginning of our marriage and it’s gotten so much better since. 5 years later and we have firm and set boundaries with our parents so lmk if you want to chat on that! It was really difficult at first

My dad passed away very suddenly 3 weeks ago from cardiac arrest. Having a parent, someone so close to you, pass away so suddenly has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, next to battling postpartum depression. Nothing can ever prepare you for losing a parent.

I'm Mexican, and the way some Latino cultures does things we really don't mind when guests we don't know attend. So if there is a plus one, and. isn't invitation only. Yes I get the whole finances is expensive In a wedding or 15 neda or any celebration party. We include everyone. As for plates I noticed the special locations of events there's still a lot food left over. Maybe because the meals are rice, beans, brilla, or mole (which is chicken with Spice flavor chocolate mix with other spices). I'm just saying they have other options of food supply offered. I think that's more of outside culture thing though. They're is also extra paper plates in case they're is none of the fancier things. It also depends on the groom and bride policy or whatever they desire. I noticed the differences in every culture. Also a lot Latino cultures do that I know Dominicans, Puerto Ricans also are welcoming to people they don't know that attend the event as longest they bring a gift. It's just a culture difference. I noticed it's like that for a lot parties for Latinos. That's also because I been around a lot Latino people to comprehend that.

how can you make God a priority (like reading the bible daily) without it becoming a ritual/just religion instead of a true relationship with God? where do you draw the line?

I think that focusing on what God did for you rather than what you do for Him is the key. We are saved because of His love for us, His sacrifice for us, His faithfulness, His goodness. We do not earn or maintain our salvation by reading the Bible. Read the Bible to discover who this amazing God is and what your new identity is because of faith in Jesus. It’s all about Him!
