Quick suggestion, in the "Create Collision Shape" dialog you can select Collision Shape Placement and set it as "Static Body Child", in that way it automatically put the collision in a static body as a child of the mesh, so you don't have to do create them manually after that

is this a viable method for simple collisions, just thinking if add a collision shape that is just a cube to a mesh, and draw a bunch extending eachother, making about half the collision faces unneccesary, will the gridmap take care of that itself or is there a better way
