Godsmack excels in their acoustic form in my opinion. The songs stand out a lot more, and Sully's voice fits this style better.

Musical orgasm ! I already knew that Godsmack was the best hard-rock band ever, but I couldn't even imagine a so wonderfull version of Trippin. Godsmack is really my favourite band. Hail to them !

I've always loved godsmack. Not just their live albums but their acoustic and live performances as well. How many bands can give such a surreal hypnotic and tribal feel to their music and still kill it like no other.

I just left a comment on another video saying the exact opposite. He sounds like Eddie Vedder warming up. Ha! Eddie's work for the soundtrack to 'Into The Wild' was excellent, however, and "...a pillow made of concrete" was a great line. Grunge had its moments, but it will remain an indelible stain on musical history not too dissimilar to the one left by most Rap. The saving graces of this band are the Middle Eastern-sounding influences and the drummer -- although the sound gets old quickly. There's only so much appeal to sitar and tabla music if you don't wear a robe and reek of curry and sweat. That might have been a bit 'politically incorrect'. ; ]

Met Sully recently at a cars and coffee event in Florida. Nicest guy ever. He seemed surprised to be recognized, considering 95% of the car guys were baby boomers 😅

I loved both the versions. They are awesome no matter what. Did u ever notice that Sully & Shannon make the same kind of faces too lol. They are like long lost twins as what Sully said before :D Anyway loved this dvd and this song is awesome same as the one he sang with John Kosco on "Reefer Headed Woman" that was awesome!! Love this band and Sully woohoo what can I say :D
