I am having a problem out of my godspeeds I've had them about 2 years and ever since I got them the have had almost like death wobble and the steering wheel shakes back and forth. Have had them swapped out once problem was fixed for a short time, then came back and advise on what to do would be much appreciated
I installed theses coils on my 2012 VW JETTA GLI and the front doesn't drop down as much as the back, the back drops into the wing, the front stays like 2 inches between tire and wing. If you want a real low drop , this is not the one for you. This kit i would say is perfect not to bust your wallet to replace the stock suspension, mine had 12 years and was bouncy as F . This drop makes a great difference , road handling is awesome on the Mono SS. But not for a Lowered Lifestyle ;-)
I have Godspeed coils on my 2019 civic sport and I understand it will be stiffer but I can be going 3 mph and hit a rock with my back wheels and catch air. Also what is a safe height for raising the coilovers. I feel I’ve maxed mine out and have no idea how much thread is left but my car is still soo low to the ground
Good video. I just ordered the MAXX for my Gallardo. What is the maximum i can safely raise it without compromising safety due to not having enough threads to hold ...at least 25% in the threaded cup?
I have a 2010 Prius. How much lower can I get it from stock? I was thinking on just getting lowering springs but they say it only drops about an inch to an inch and a half. Could I lower it 2-3 inches? In your experience, how much is the comfort affected at 2-3 inch lower ride height?
I just bought a 2011 rav4 Toyota and it has these. The ride is too stiff for me and when I go over a speed bump or pot hole it seems the car is going to fall apart. Not sure if they lowered this car before I bought it also. $hit seems to complicated for me. I just want a normal stock ride. I’m in Stockton Ca. Can you suggest the closest place to me to have this adjusted if possible?
I just installed some monoRS on my e92. Confused on adjusting the fronts you say to lower the car use the upper big ring and to go higher the big ring but aren’t those two locked to each other all you gotta do spin clockwise or counter for Lower or higher? They are both lock so spinning the big shouldn’t mess the spring load because the bottom it’s already loose and free to spin the shock body.
Nice vid. My '12 Mazdaspeed springs are nowhere near that length (19cm). So I went to the Godspeed site and watched their somple preload vid. All good... Only thing I'd say is be careful tightening the bottom ring down extra hard (use a brass drift if you do, not a chisel). Either the PO or a shop cranked one of mine down way too tight. Thought I might have to heat it, but penetrant and smacking it with a drift broke it free - but at the cost of one of the bosses on the lower ring. Be smart.... Thank you for the vid - especially the part at the end about not returning them lol hilarious
I just got my Godspeed coilovers for my 2023 Hyundai Sonata N line and really like build on these. Thanks for this video as it will help as Im installing these my self!
I need help I just purchased an installed Godspeed coil over mono ss On my RSX type S 06 and the plate does not line up side to side only at an angle when I have side to side, the bolts do not line up through the holes Has anybody else had this problem?
Can you adjust it straight into the car? And avec putting on news coils is it true that you should go do an alignment? I just bought a little accent and I was looking at these Godspeed for my accent 2012🤷🏼♂️
