It is Godzilla. Common misunderstanding is that Toho hate Tristar Godzilla design. That's not true. From what I've seen Toho actually liked this design and obviously gave it greenlight. They didn;t like how this version was used. Creature from the movie was approved by Toho and is officaly named Godzilla. It IS Godzilla
