Why is Ancient Godzilla so powerful? (I guess this wasn't obvious enough but this is a theory to plug in pieces of lore we don't have? Can't have a theory anymore????)

He technically didn't beat her in a fair fight but did trap her in the deeper hollow earth. It was said that he was worried because his beam did absolutely nothing to her but irritate her.

What if Godzilla trapped shimo in a cave and many years later he tricked Skar to come into that cave to let Shimo challenge Skar but found a crystal that controls her

It wouldn’t make sense how An evolved Godzilla wouldn’t beat shimo but an ancient can? It feels weird…

I think Adam is a great director for these movies but there’s no denying he hard simps for Godzilla and with the statements he makes he shows it. Godzilla in probably his strongest form ever was at best “equal” with Shimo, there’s no way he would win in a much weaker state. It’s like the statements he said abt Godzilla vs Kong, where Godzilla was just having fun and was never worried abt dying, just annoyed by Kong. He likes to downplay these other titans to make Godzilla seem way stronger and I feel like it’s a little boring

Man, Godzilla didn't even need to evolve after all.

Considering how ancient goji was always being charged up because of the hollow earth energy, Godzilla may have actually been stronger in the past but the Permian and his hibernation in the surface for thousands of years probably drained him of energy until 1954 when he was charged up by a nuke. That also might mean that he knew he was too weak currently to beat Shimo again, so to compensate for that, he evolved a burning hot form he could keep for a while (unlike thermo) because he needed more heat instead of strength now.

Shimo probibly just got stronger just like Godzilla did

In the novelization it is said that shimo was dominating godzilla, and the iwi were worried godzilla would lose. It is likely that godzilla just managed to seal shimo away.

My theory is that Godzilla feared shimos power after she caused an entire ice age to freeze ghidorah so he challenge her but after seeing how she took little damage he had to trap her deeper in the hollow earth which is where skar king found her

Since we see her trapped under rubble in the the wall carvings when Skar found it's safe to say Godzilla beat her using the environment, not because he out muscled her since she's equal to his supercharged evolved state.

Godzilla wasnt trying to kill shimo in gxk. All he was doing was pushing her around. He didn't bite her claw her stomp her or anything vicious he just wrestled her to occupy her.

Yeah no, the cave paintings also show Godzilla sealing/trapping Shimo, and seeing how she treated Evolved there's no reason to assume that trapping her was all he could do since she would've outmatched him in every way possible in ancient times

1. Radiation wasnt as easy to come by as it is now. So idk how goji would supercharge 2. Ancient godzilla would be Pre 1954 nuke which is pre 2014 3. Back then other godzillas probbably wouldve existed so godzilla wouldnt be the alpha 4. In GxK godzilla evolved because he knew Shimo was to strong Sometimes the monsterverse just doesnt make sense

Novelization states that shimo weighed so much that she fell down to the hollow earth and that Godzilla got a lucky win and would’ve lost had the battle continued.

Weird does that mean evolve could be slightly weaker than the Ancient Godzilla or evolved Godzilla wasn't trying

i think rather Godzilla trapped shimo like he did with ghidorah (of course shimo is the one to freeze ghidorah but godzilla most likely trapped him in the pit alongside mothra and rodan). Godzilla also did this with Skar King and his ape army. Rather instead of submission shimo most likely was trapped into the hollow earth and while stuck in there she was taken hostage by Skar.

I think shemo would win cus of her sheer mass, the reason why godzilla kinda won was because skar king ordered her to take out kong but goji was in the way

Shima was the first alpha Titan but then she got overruled because scar King took over her

I wish they focus more on Godzilla like what if they show the muto prime on screen again because we know theres a queen muto we wanna see a fight like 1v1 instead of kong in that. Honestly Godzilla couldve easily killed skar king.

Tbh I don’t think we can say for sure until we get an official statement, like how Godzilla beat Ghidorah in Antarctica in that one guidebook. The movies often leave out vital information of things that happened in the past which make it more confusing than it needs to be

The earth was also 10x more powerful in radiation levels back in ancient times as stated by Dr Graham in the 2014 briefing. So when we’re talking about Godzilla supercharging before a fight, we’re talking maybe Boston level Goji or stronger fighting Shimo.

simple and quick response Godzilla was smarter, faster and didn't just rely on strength Godzilla manages to use the powers of other titans to balance the world So we can assume that Godzilla's intelligence surpassed Shimo's brute strength
