Fun Fact: The plant monster was a direct reference to Biolante. A Godzilla, plant, human hybrid with the soul of a professor's daughter who was responsible for creating Biolante in the first place.
Thank you, 4 Plus, for covering my series! There's more episodes coming up and being produced right now (and it's kinda clashes with my new series haha). But I'm happy to be able to watch my series covered by my favorite channel that takes me deeper into the world of analog horror and various other amazing content! Side note: I've had the plot for this series since 2017, and it was supposed to be in live action format, but it's cost me a big budget. So there's no other way to make it happen, so I had to choose to make it in an analog horror format. Thanks again!
19:37 This is like that one deleted part of shin godzilla where chunks of his flesh that got blown off by the bunker bombs had eyes and teeth growing out of it. Not only that but the idea of mini godzillas from the movies ending seems to be a big inspiration for this.
Kinda sounds like a stylized version of teratoma, a real medical condition that can happen in mammals where they grow tumors that can supposedly grow teeth and eyes…yikes.
Considering that the creator is, from what I heard, just 15 years old, this is pretty impressive. I’m sure that they will only get better, so that’s exciting!
Funnily enough, the Plant Godzilla is based off of Biollante which is actually a combination of Plant, Godzilla, and human DNA in her own movie. Even though you didnt know, you got it right in one.
Man this Analog Horror including Biollante into a Shin Inspired story instantly means its true peak. The kind of creative freedom independent works truly excel at there.
i really like this alternate form of shin godzilla escpially how it seems to have traits inspired by space godzilla specfially the white colouring and additional glowing lines on its chest. also it having its own unique attacks in addition to the average godzilla aresenal like the spike launcher and Atomic Ball lighting.
Honestly even tho it is bad made when it comes to graffics. It is very very rich in story and lore. And i respect using that as the main focus. It makes the series better than most.
I love how creative the person who made this analog horror is! It shows how much hard work they put into this and showing off their digital art skills.
Honestly me and my older sister love your videos especially when it's midnight when everyone is asleep except us, getting the chills, and jumpscares while having her is rlly fun, i love your channel so much and wish you the best in life
I get a heavy Cloverfied meets Vita Carnis from this and im all here for it! Also yes Shin Godzilla is so good, but not for everyone. It takes the time to slow down in a few sections and thats not something everyone wants in a Godzilla film.
I would definitely recommend shin Godzilla, but just keep in mind that most of the movie is just people in a meeting, so it gets very boring at times but whenever Godzilla shows up it's actually pretty great
the wide majority of the time spent in meetings was made to show how, at the time, the japanese government was very bureaucratic and spent a lot of time in meetings when disasters did happen- although i do agree that shin godzilla totally rocks lol
@@concretemixyes and no. What made gojira so special was the people who suffered the attack and how they struggle with it and how it is a metaphor of what nuclearbombs can do to our world, not with random politicians explaining wtf to do with godzilla. Which is why Minus One did a better job on that aspect than in Shin Godzilla. It was handled poorly and nobody really cared about the characters just because of that flaw, the same could be said to the humans in the MV
@chuviis3508 The politicians sitting around was very intentional, as it was a critique of how the government had handled their response during the Fukushima disaster, which was when Japan got hit by an earthquake followed by a tsunami, and the government was so slow to respond that a nuclear plant went critical and released a bunch of radiation into the surrounding area. To this day, their is wide disatisfaction amongst citizens with how slow the government was to respond. So when you see the government sitting around, coming up with plans instead of acting, that was pretty much how the government acted at the time, and it was only when the new generation stepped up and people volunteered their time that Godzilla was defeated.
I think the analog horror is based on the shin Godzilla movie. In the movie Godzilla was about to evolve to beat humanity, yes Godzilla does that. But Godzilla was about to unleashed a humanoid Godzilla hybrid but Godzilla was frozen preventing Godzilla from evolving more.
Well here's the thing for most of us for our old Godzilla fans we understand that psychic abilities in Godzilla universe people with psychic powers do exist and it's a big part but only a few people recognize that so yes so I'm guessing in this universe psychic abilities does but this is the first time
Super happy to see you talk about The Invasion Of Godzilla. It might genuinely be my favorite Godzilla horror story right now, with Ghost of Hiroshima being a close second.
Damn, Analog Horror keeps hitting hard lately. I like this even more than The Man in the Suit, though both have great things about the two. Can't wait to see where both of the series are going!
37:31 Biollante is canonically a human, Godzilla, plant hybrid. They even have Biollante roars from the Heisei movie for this Godzilla flesh Plant. 43:29: ANGUIRUS! 48:36: Hedorah is just chilling. 32:06/43:36: Also that's Gamera right there.
Autistic fan of Godzilla here... It really shows the creator is fan of Godzilla. Not just for the Shin Gojira reference but too by the existence of other kaijus as Biollante, Hedorah, Mothra, Rodan, etc The last panel related for antartica should be very probably Ghidorah as his apperance in the monsterverse shows him in the same place.
It's quite sad that this is the only kind of content where fans can do stuff with the Toho monsters. Meanwhile, the Monsterverse is restricted to use anymore legacy characters due to licensing and paying Toho money to use those assets. Yeah, pretty much this is the only kind of fan work where we can see more creations of the Toho Godzilla movies. This and the NES creepypasta. Otherwise, we just have to wait for the next time Toho chooses to make another Godzilla or Ultraman movie since they aren't pumping out a lot of those movies as they used to back in the late 20th century.
Im sorry but this is what the movie Shin Godzilla should have been. Have him be a planetary threat and not just one city threat. This analog Horror by my bro and friend shows that Shin Godzilla can be even more terrifying. I luv this analog he made too and his art aint that bad neither.
@@miguelmunguiamendoza it wasn't toho. It's actually anno himself who said that if he made a sequel, it would be like a conventional showa godzilla film. Go google it, its there. Idk where u got that from
@@miguelmunguiamendoza I get that part as they had no faith in Hideki Anno.Toho literally canned his sequel for the Legendary Monsterverse Godzilla as they make alot more money then Anno can ever do.
If i got a nickle for all the times the oxygen destroyer has been in a godzilla movie and killed or almost killed godzilla, i would have 3 nickles. It's good, but there should be more nickles than that, though. Movie: ゴジラ, godzilla king of the monsters (2019). Series: godzilla singular point.
The scenes of Godzilla's flesh and the contaminated meat infesting the city reminded me a lot of Prototype. I wonder if that was one of the inspirations outside of Shin Godzilla, especially since New York is one of the first cities Godzilla attacks after his brief incursion into San Francisco years prior.
This could literally be the continuatuon of shin godzilla, since it also sprouted humanlike godzillas out of it's tail and in concept arts that shin godzilla split apart into 2 godzillas and more. This is amazing
If you didn’t know, the zoo tape had multiple TOHO Kaiju. 43:29 is Anguirus, Godzillas ally. 43:33 I would like to believe is Kumonga. And 43:36 could be Kamoebas, a mutated Mata - Mata turtle. Also 48:05 is most likely where Ghidorah is, that’s a straight refrence to King of The Monsters itself. I feel like either they will wake him up, or we could get MechaGodzilla, which is a robot Godzilla that was made to kill Godzilla.
I feel like something important to mention here, at ~47:20, is that the Oxygen Destroyer is the weapon used in the 1954 original to kill Godzilla. And it DID work. The problem is that there was just a second Godzilla. What could this lead to? I have no idea. However, I do think its important to mention this as it means there is the possibility of this plan actually working.
8:25 I believe that the original version was poorly made with meme sound effects and contained an image of a real shipping accident that unfortunately was fatal.
The plant monster seems to be biollonte if don’t know she was made when a scientist tried to combine Godzilla dna & plants but his daughter died on a rose bush so he put the roses in a tank of Godzilla cells
Time to go full godzilla nerd the artic is the resting place of ghidrah be far the most powerful of the 5 the planets monster is biollantie but back to king ghidorah he is far from this version of godzilla but is humanity’s only hope alsoly rodan and mothra are intelligent mothra can’t die she has an egg that just herself while rodan is but alsoly absorbs magma his skeleton might just need to be put in some lava to get him revived
Ain’t gunna lie I’m personally getting tired of the whole taking an existing IP and making it analog horror. I’m not even kidding, I saw a kid making one about jojo bizarre adventure on the official Reddit. Hoping to see some creativity soon again. Edit, some people are saying there is original stuff being made and i agree. My recent hidden gem i've personally really enjoyed so far is "The Hapis Protocols" created by Philm Pixels. A unique series based on our oceans and a nice change of scenery having it set in the UK. If you have Thalassphobia i would recommend! Hope his stuff hits off soon!
@@bestbros6817found a recent one on there that’s just started and it a based on the oceans and in the uk, which is a nice breath of fresh air, hoping it succeeds because it’s really good so far
i feel like this universe would be PERFECT for the Enclave from the Fallout franchise. The Enclave's Curling 13 is probably the equal of Terminal cancer to godzilla and all these other beings, so, in conclusion? they better be thankful that they do not get to know why exactly we have self imposed rules on how we fight each other.
This analog horror series definitely got heavily inspired by shin godzilla You seriously just need to watch it cuz its such an underrated masterpiece Also hedorah is female not a dude
I'm pretty sure this analog horror was based off of OG Shin Godzilla because most of the stuff in the analog horror is or sounds like the original idea of Shin which is really cool
i’ve been busy but i’m catching up on content and i’ve noticed the lack of audio on the dancing cow meme part of self promo and i’d love to hear it more again literally my only criticism love the channel
Godzilla coming-out-of-the-water should never not-be-white: the surface area of scales would draw white-water like a 2nd-skin till the body reaches elevation; at that zenith the water would churn even starker-white as it crests away from the proper-mass & sheets-off in grandiose-splatter-pattern misting like long-hair-kitten-fur. (obligatory roar)
Everyone talks about the man in the suit but NOBODY ever talks about the Suitmation trials which predates the man in the suit by almost 2 years and put Godzilla into analog horror 😭😭 Can someone else please give it some love
@@Randomanner I'm pretty sure it won't. The in-universe reason why TST hasn't had any recent entries is that the owner of the channel is literally on the run from whatever Godzilla entity thing is hunting him down.
@@absolute_entropy_ funny way of saying the creator is lazy and/or out of ideas. He can certainly show up to rant about Unknowingly using an image of Godzilla that didn't even come from TST though
@@absolute_entropy_ yeah that's the whole reason Unknowingly has to remake the Anguirus suit incident, he was bullied and attempted copyright claimed by TST's creator for the creepy image of '55 Goji, even though that image does not belong to him or anyone really. Broke his silence just to shit on another Godzilla analog horror creator presumably looking for any excuse to do so out of jealousy that TMITS became more popular(rightfully so, it's better than TST plain and simple).
Would not recommend shin godzilla, it mostly a variety of business meetings with about 10 mimutes of a growing godzilla (godzilla designs are amazing, and the lore that's not explored in the film is kind of horror, but it doesn't save the film at all). Be careful, the film has a ridiculously rabid fanbase.
47:20 "heh if you've seen the movies, you know where this'll go" yeah if you have actually seen the movies then you'd know that ITS GONNA KILL HIM. its literally the thing that killed godzilla in the original movies. god fucking
You know what could be a good idea? An Analog Horror based on the rampage games. Just the thought of people getting turned into rampaging beasts always terrified me.
