Im loving the new Godzilla design! My absolute favorite Godzilla design ever is Godzilla 2000 so it's really cool that they are kinda referencing that

The new design is so sick!!! Really love the white spikes, reminds me of Singular Point and the millennium goji’s white Spines. Personal hot take, but I find it strange how some people get fussed over it, especially when so many Godzillas are radically different, that I don’t see why not for Godzilla to get a sick makeover. If Toho can go wild with its Godzilla designs, why not Legenday I say.

Speaking of toho going crazy with designs. Godzilla minus 1 is the best godzilla design I've seen. 2nd favorite would be godzilla Tokyo S.O.S (super cool neck and head with cool spines). 3rd probably shin godzilla 4th form even if he's kinda lame in behavior/movement and activity. Minus one just has a perfect combination of previous designs and his spines are the most chaotic and cool design for his spines to date. Mix of millennium pointy length and heiseis rounded shapes

I think the hand print in Kong Skull Island is still Kong’s from the helicopter wound. But I think the one in the hollow earth is definitely the antagonist’s.

Same As of now it's all still a very strong speculation, but if it turns out to be true I hope they'll explain how and if scar king ties to Kong's story on skull island

Definitely going the Godzilla 2000 design for Godzilla this time. Personally I love the original G2000 suit with the dark greenish/violet color (the way 2000 was filmed kinda makes them blend together weirdly in a way that I liked). However I will say I didn’t like how it was altered in Megaguirus where they made him more bright green, that was a silly design change.

Yes. This looks promising. It does look like it could be terrifying. However, we heard that this film is very goofy, like the Showa era, due to the test screening responses, but they said the movie is still very good.

Godzilla has small beard-like spikes on the bottom of his chin like Godzilla Earth. I would love to see those spikes grow bigger in a future MonsterVerse movie because Godzilla looked awesome with a large "beard" in the Polygon trilogy.

1:10 I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like the continuation of Godzilla and Kong teaming up. They really should've focused on another monster or just stuck with a Kong or Godzilla solo film. It just doesn't feel necessary for this film to exist except for the sole purpose of bringing the two monsters together AGAIN. I am looking forward to seeing the trailer today, but I'm still going in with mixed, mostly negative feelings for New Empire. 8:13 As much as people have mostly spoiled themselves and everyone else with leaks, I feel like Legendary should've done a better job keeping everything hidden. Before we were given some leaks about GvK, but now it's even worse than ever now that they are openly showing the scene images and T-shirts before showing the trailer. 12:18 That's my favorite thing about Minus One Godzilla is how large his spines are and they should be. When his spines are not bigger than his body they do not make him look as intimidating and in some angles it's hard to see them, which should not be the case. My only issue with the New Empire dorsal plates is that it is too soon for Godzilla's dorsals to be changing. Again, this is what I'm talking about how the concept of this movie does not feel necessary and only serves the purpose of putting the two monsters back together and giving them a villain that requires both of them to defeat.

What's not to like about two legends getting together for a monster bash again? That's what godzilla is all about. The fights. I for one am very excited for them to team up and wouldn't care if they did it again. The solo movies can get boring. Plus there really isn't anymore to flesh out in a solo movie. I say bring on the monster bashes!

Godzilla looks freakin wicked! Sadly, this film is coming out at a bad time, & EVERYONE will be looking for it to top what cannot be topped, which isn't fair to compare as they are two completely different films-but people are unfair. And so is life. . . Windgard won't get many good nights sleep after seeing minus one, & may even pull the release date & do a ton of tweaks on it. Or maybe I'm just still too high after seeing minus one. Can't wait til minus one is streamable, then I can really see & feel how truly great it is. . . or not.

Gotta be honest, I'm really not a fan of the new goji design, it just looks way to stylised and they probably aren't gonna explain why he looks like that in the movie compared to GvK, but I really hope they don't have goji and kong in every single monsterverse movie going forward.

So people screamed for a monsterverse that includes teamups and battles with new or even monsters of different genre. You finally get this and man the low expectations or mixed feelings hit the youcry channels to plop out their opinions before actually seeing these movies. No offense but if you are a kaiju fan then it doesn't matter how slapstick or violent it is because Godzilla started his career out as a devastating monstrocity and ended up a comedy act. Like it or hate it is just another kaiju movie to entertain giants rampaging or saving the world.

I saw the trailer and it looks goofy. This is nothing like Godzilla 2014. At least that film took itself seriously and was committed to its more grounded aesthetic and tone. Even KOTM, for as bad as it was, still didn't have Godzilla running like a cartoon character (to that extent). Now we have Godzilla running while pumping his arms like a person. What happened?????
