A fitting end to an amazing saga 1984-1995 . my favorite Godzilla ever . Ifukube, Kawakita and Satsuma are the best . my opinion of course , please don't be angry you Showa, Millenium and Monsterverse fans .
Honestly, I feel like there are some really strong films distributed across all of the series. I certainly don't blame anyone for picking Heisei as their fave. '84, Biollante, KG, and Destroyah are absolute bangers, IMO.

My friend’s uncle remembers going to see Godzilla Vs Destroyah in 1995 (obviously) and he remembers his dad saying to leave the movie theater when the end came, but everybody didn’t leave, because when they heard the music, some of them remembered Godzilla Vs King Kong. Then everybody clapped when the song ended.
Before watching Godzilla vs. Kong, I watched nearly every Godzilla film ever made. But I saved watching the Heisei series for last, watching the 1954 original and then going straight to The Return of Godzilla. Needless to say, that was the most satisfying Godzilla viewing experience I ever had.

If you ever watch godzilla till now from black and white to color it has been one hell of a journey, honestly when I first saw godzilla I instantly love it, when godzilla 2000 came out I was the first in line to go in and watch, been a crazy franchise
I watched godzilla KOTM in theaters as a kid, it was my 1st godzilla movie, i loved giant monster battles so i immediately liked godzilla and wanted to watch more godzilla movies. After that i asked my mom if she could donload some godzilla movies to a USB, she said sure and the movies were final wars, 1998 and shin godzilla. 1998 was welp underwhelming, a decent movie but doesnt neccecarily represent godzilla. Shin i found boring because as a 9 year old kid, i didnt care about talking scenes. Final wars despite the reviews, was a great movie for me, the fights were fun as hell. I also watched an english dub of godzilla vs destroyah on youtube, i didnt watch the full movie so i didnt watch the climax sadly I also watched godzilla 1954 recently and lets say it was dark...

Thats kinda of mean, I mean KOTM made this theme more epic than it was before which was already epic, and I don’t why G-Fans seem to hate the new Monsterverse, but I am pretty sure it’s because G-Fans probably don’t trust Americans with Godzilla but Toho thinks they are doing a good job with the Monsterverse and that they hope America will welcome Godzilla with open arms.

Toho actually was interested in doing a rematch between Godzilla and King Kong in the 1990’s, but the money needed for the rights to use King Kong was too high for them to afford.
