You correctly predicted Big G would win. There's just no beating the rightful King of the Monsters

What I think I love most is how you've taken into account each monster's unique traits. It would've been so easy to just make them both big monsters that beat each other up, but you've shown far more than that. Kong is more agile, quicker at thinking on his feet and goes for weak spots. Godzilla is slow but *powerful,* doesn't rush in and just takes the first few hits and then retaliates with an overwhelming assault. And I love how you've allowed these traits to interact with each other. Kong is quicker but still has trouble actually damaging Godzilla or make him stagger back, while Godzilla's attacks send Kong reeling back. Kong can adapt but eventually so does Godzilla, and when he does it's devastating. The whole fight felt like Kong was the underdog, beating on this Lizard that just doesn't care how hurt he gets. Godzilla was not gonna give up until he was dead, he wouldn't stop going on the attack. Kong made a tactical retreat twice, getting the better of Godzilla but failing to escape him. All these details were necessary to making this an absolute masterclass of an animated fight. And it would've been so easy to forego them. I'm so happy you took the time and made the effort to accomplish this and more that I haven't even touched on here.

Nobody Is talking about how much effort went into this, this truly is the pinical of animation. The simple style mix with the smooth movements are amazing, we need to commend this person's work. He/she is truly a god of animation, thank you for delivering a beautiful masterpiece sir!

I love how in the end, in spite of losing this fight, Kong was only knocked out instead of dead. You can hear the beast breath as if to catch his breath after this bout. A great Kaiju was preserved to fight another day. Well done!

When you realize the animation is too good than the actual Movie.

Mannn. 4 years later and this absolutely topped GvK's fight scenes. It's not even a matter of who wins, I mean even *I* prefer Godzilla winning. But it's a matter of writing and making the fight entertaining! See, this fight was super entertaining because there was a shifting power dynamic. It was brutal, it was choreographed super well, and it is *UNDOUBTEDLY the greatest fight in the history of kaiju media, period* . You killed it bro. Hoping to see more kaiju stuff from you soon!

Godzilla felt so much like a Crocodile in this series. The way he moves. His design. The way he swims. I think this is a unique and cool version of the big G

I dunnoe if anyone has commented on this, but I'm more impressed with your patience in doing all the water/wave splashing effects, is this some kind of personal challenge you put to yourself to have them fight in a very complicated setting/above water where every frame you have to compose all the wave and water surges properly? cause its really remarkable as a 2D animation to have that level of detail on the water constantly with 2 massive subjects fighting.

I thought this was going to suck, but I was wrong. Good battle scene! The sound effects, the graphics and even the mannerisms of Godzilla and King Kong were great! They have been talking about making this into a movie for a while now. If they ever do, they need to take notes from this animation, well done! 👍🏾

King Kong forgot one thing... Water/ocean is Godzilla's natural habitat and knows how to use his environmental advantages While king Kong's environmental advantage was when they were in the city where he can use tools and objects he can hang on to. For real forget whoever unlike this. This was brutal and amazing and I feel a accurate Testament to what would happen if a 50-story alligator took on a 40-story 8 gorilla. You nailed it on the head. You nailed it on the head. Kong wouldn't be able to just beat on Godzilla it would hurt him because Godzilla is just tough I loved the bloody hands after he hit him a few times. I loved the power he could get in the tail whip. The characters looked like the characters that we watched. You know these characters well and your animation is amazing I have showed this video to probably a hundred people and made sure they liked it. You should do the fight choreographing for the actual movie. What I'm most impressed about is the strength difference. Everybody says, will be stronger on that scale. Forgetting totally that reptiles are stronger than primates. Wonderful job I could sit here and just say good job all day.

This was just amazing,first video I came across of this channel was the Winter SoldierVsGulie vid and I was obsessed since then,subscribed immediately after however stupidly didn’t watch the other vids and because of that I have to apologize that I’m just coming across the GodzillaVsKong fight, because I recently watched my fav the WS fight this popped up and I’m like well let me check this out and of course I was blown TF away!!! You did great work Zimaut!!!! Oh man this was brutal and gory and amazing and just the overall kind of battle I wanna see in 2020. Dude, amazing work , really. this is phenomenal!!! Here are my questions and ideas I have Did Kong wash up on Skull Island or something? I've always had this unique idea I came up with one day in class, but personally I'd love to see Kong fight a Female Muto, Godzilla comes onto the island and Kong still stands his ground even though he knows what Godzilla can do to him, but Godzilla sees the dead creature's body and realizes they're on the same side. Then we get Kong and Godzilla vs Destroyah or Ghidorah, a big bad like that. In the Monsterverse, it'd be better if we got our original KKVG battle and then in future movies we get a teamup. I'd love to see Kong fight Rodan too or something like that, whatever it is you make in the future is gonna be spectacular, like no lie my heart is still beating from how awesome this was. I'm blown away, major props to you Zimaut great job!!!

Truly an amazing fight and well done animation that made me think I was watching an old cartoon from Fox Kids in the mornings as a pup. Wow... 20+ odd years now. Anyway! Regardless of the outcome, you gave this fight a lot of attention to detail and made it impressive with how either of the two would logically fight the other. Excellent video animation to end 2017. Thank you for your hard work and hope to see more of your works soon in the turn of 2018.

I have been a fan of Japanese moster movies since the 70's, but that was one of the most (in my opinion at least) accurate depictions of how that battle would have played out. In the original King Kong vs. Godzilla, Kong is the victor and I had a real problem with that conclusion. Yes, I knew that Kong's speed and brute strength would be his advantage over GZ, but remember that Godzilla is potentially a prehistoric entity that has lived thousands, if not millions of years. We really don't know how long Kong has lived, but living in his islands, fighting others mutations of nature ( which is the current understanding of the younger generation of fans) keeps him at the top of his game. Godzilla on the other hand, has only recently awaken for who knows how long, but I'm sure the swim that he had to make to get to wherever Kong was, helped limber him up. The battle itself kept me on the edge of my seat, and I have to admit, there were a few times where I thought Kong was going to win. The second Godzilla got him into the water, I knew it was over! And don't forget the fire, it wasn't until Kong took that shot point blank in the face, that basically ended the fight. Extremely well done, you've made a new fan, can't wait to look at the rest of your library!
