Nice to see Crossbones depicted as an actual threat rather than a joke.

I swear Guile in this fight has single-handedly convinced me to never skip leg day.

I love how the sergeant asks guile to try and capture him alive and the literal first thing he does when he encounters winter soldier is shoot a fucking rpg at him.

The choreography is so on another level .... Marvel should hire you

guile's battle iq is off the charts: -the door opening rpg fakeout at the beginning -guile initially goes towards bucky's right, non robotic, arm -he seems to be weaker in closer quarters, so he bursts through a wall to get more room -the charge fakeout to use his sonic boom -he cant feel his arm, so he fights more with his legs -he grabs crossbones' knife and hides it to take out his shocker i love it

Superman vs Hulk, Saitama vs Hulk, they're both cool and all but this one just has something so *visceral* to it. The fact that they're mostly just peak humans or superhuman but not capable of destroying the planet, just brawling like normal people, is awesome.

This is sick. Imagine if this dude had his own studio and large funds🤤 He must rise.

Gotta be honest, I was pretty shocked at how hardcore Crossbones can be in the hands of the right creator. Excellent animation.

1:47 THIS CHOREOGRAPHY IS SO AWESOME! Here we can see Guile distracting Bucky by opening the other door, giving him enough time to shoot the rocket at him without getting shot by the winter soldier.

I like how it's displayed here that Guile's regular strength is the same as Bucky's metal arm, but the fact that Bucky has a metal arm in the first place gives him a defense advantage over Guile.

I absolutely love how this dude can perfectly animate the destruction a fight between two superhumans can cause, and also a fight between two persons who could possibly destroy an entire large mountain with an single slap

I love how, when Bucky is versing Crossbones, he starts on the offensive, but when that doesn’t work, he switches his fighting style to defenders, utilising his metal arm’s durability to its full extent and absorbing most attacks, before countering.

This man puts more love to crossbone then the mcu

One has hi tech weapons, another has super soldier serum, and one has the sickest do of all time and two energy based range attacks. This is an incredible fight

Holy crap, the weight, physics, and grounding of these fights is off the charts, this person needs to be some sort of animated director or cinematographer, imagine what they could do with a team of animators and a good budget.

When the world needed your animations most, you delivered.

Better than 99% of the scenes in the movies. Choreography was so good, and the action felt great. And you did a fantastic job of making all the characters feel like they were threats and no one was a pushover when it came to fighting

Man my brother would have loved this. Guile was his (and mine) favorite Street Fighter character and he loved superheroes. Big Avengers fan. I wish he was still here, I'd send this to him. Great work!

These anima tons are the hidden gems of RU-vid. Stuff like this made my childhood and I’m glad they are still around.

The use of the exo skeleton and bucky’s mechanical arm is superb! Such ingenious choreography and intelligently placed cinematography that I could always tell what was happening and understand it perfectly! Your ability to orchestrate these fights is second to none on RU-vid!

One thing I can really appreciate about this fight is that it doesn’t turn into another ‘good guys harmlessly fight until they team up to fight a bigger threat’ scenario. Even after Crossbones shows up, it remains the same desperate battle for survival it was at the beginning. The stakes have just raised via the presence of a third party. Also the fight has weight and you feel like they’re struggling to stand, much less fight. That kind of tension is really lost in most modern Marvel Comics outings.

I just thought it was cool how Crossbones in this was turned into a legitimate threat instead of a total joke like he was in the MCU.

Can we crowdfund his next animation projects? These look like they take a lot of work

Love the ending, Guile was tasked to take out a guy with a metal arm and he takes back Crossbones, a different guy with metal arm weapons. WS gets to escape but Guile still completes the mission as far as command can tell.

How is this man not a choreographer for movies. His fights have weight, emotion and an understanding of each person's strengths and weaknesses.

I loved the 1 v 1 v 1 of these three and the look on Crossbones' face when he begins to understand that it's going to end in an "every man for himself". I'd love to see another fight with several opponents who don't team up (even if Bucky and Guilde did at the end, unconsciously, to beat Crossbones). Otherwise, I still love the 1 v 1s you offer us, keep it up, I love it!

7/11/2023 I've watched this video 5 different times, this will be my 6th. I'm having to pause every couple seconds just to admire what's happening and the amazing animation at play here. I genuinely want to know what field of work this animator is in, besides what's in the "About" page. Back to the animation, every action feels like it has a defined purpose, and the camera angles are fucking splendid at showing us the action properly, even sometimes panning to something for less than half a second but that frame being incredibly important(even just understanding it subconsciously) to what's happening. For example: 3:20 to 3:21 where Guile puts his foot on a wall, very minor detail on it's but then in the next sequence of events he uses it as leverage to push Bucky through the wall. This detail could've been left out and I would've not bat an eye but because Zimaut put that in their the subsequent crash feels 10x more impactful in my opinion. Is this over-analysis? Yes. Is this fun for me? YES. I fucking love the impact in these videos, unlike certain media which tends to have the fights feel like people are punching each other with stuffed animals, the hits in these videos are so fucking RAW whilst still characters not really receiving much definitive damage. Also something I just realized it that there are impact-frame-esque moments like 3:45 to 3:46 which just adds to the impact of the hits. The way the characters recoil, duck, parry, dodge the hits as well feels so real to me as well as how every part of their body moves to face said hits. Everything is so fluid and smooth when it comes to movement, and despite everything being 2d animated it feels 3d. gonna continue a bit later something came up

I love your style and choreography, dude. All your kicks and punches feel like they have weight to them, and it's genuinely noticeable when characters are getting hurt, hitting harder, etc. Really good.

There's story and growth in the fight the further it progresses. The decisions in the fight are smart, the environment and skills are always incorporated and not just in the background. INSPIRING! THIS IS WHAT GIVES A FIGHT SCENE MEANING!

I really like the sound effects of Winter Soldier's arm

Crossbones uses a hydraulic system to use that arm, meanwhile Guile just wields it with sheer strength.

This is hands down the best fight you’ve ever made.

You did something really good in your animations. There weight and a certain heaviness to the blows wich lacks in most animations in our days, even big animations from big studios. Kudos for that !

Guile relies on counter hitting, never scared to get hit, you can't go pound for pound with him Bucky's tenacity and ability to adapt to his environment, exploring every possible move, perfect blend of brut force & tactics

Finally Crossbones got the respect he deserves. He was nerfed in the MCU. Also I like that Guile took Crossbones' body fooling the sergeant that he got the metal armed guy he wanted. Nice story, animation and character builds.

Loved how you made it clear that Bucky and Guile are not on the same level when it comes to physical strength, but Bucky's hydrolics are still stronger than his meat based fibets

I love the pacing of this. The brief pauses between each onslaught of fight moves really gives the overall fight more impact and makes it seem that there are consequences to to the damage they're revceiving from each blow. Great stuff!
