Nerfed? in the case of DC I wouldn't say that, the power of these characters is always inconsistant even within their own settings, only Superman can do something but he didn't take Godzilla seriously so he was removed from the event to come back later. That's the only way to write a Godzilla and Superman interaction if you want to have a story, without reducing their characters to a Powerscaling fight, because eventually they'll become friend. I'll try to explain it real quick. AFAICR Godzilla as been succinctly portrayed to be the strongest, most powerful creature on the planet, if Godzilla is put in an universe he will come to scale. It's like Adamantium, or any other metal and alloy said to be virtually indestructible, they are all considered that way, even across verses because that's how they came to be known. It's a concept that many people acknowledge without problem, and Godzilla is the same. The only way to truly stop Godzilla is to be as powerful as him, and completely destroy his body. Something only the most powerful characters in fiction can do physically or by means of Energy/Matter Manipulation, again just like Adamantium.
@@Xainfinen I already understand all of that, i get that superman is to powerful so it's no surprise they took him out early so the story could actually happen and play out, but superman bench pressed the entire weight of the earth for five days straight and never even broke a sweat and he only stopped because he felt like it, he can move faster than the speed of light, his heat vision can reach unfathomable temperatures, etc.....he could just easily fly through Godzilla's body over and over, or literally just pick him up and fly him up and throw him into space and he's done, lol I mean Zeus is a cosmic God, it just gets ridiculous sometimes

always depends, godzilla isnt just the big lizard on the screen, there are some comics where godzilla is multiversal level and he has like beyond infinite speed strnght, battle iq ecc, like godzilla in hell, he basically killed satan and god in that comic, and travelled hell whit no problems, and hell is stated to be infinite, if you didn't watch that or readed that i really suggest to, godzilla in hell, but yes, godzilla is strong asf, size doesnt metter, btw sorry if i look like 🤓🤓

Watching all this godzilla vs. stuff (both official comics and fan made) has made me realize that Godzilla was One Punch Man before One Punch Man existed and can defeat anyone from any fandom with no problem because the writer and fans said so, somehow.

I love seeing Godzilla defeating everything, I just love watching people get upset with it, lol. I know he has no right winning most of these fights, but just seeing people write essays about it and get mad is amusing. At least in this battle, they try to use logic by saying the gods have been weakened due to a lack of worshipers.
Zeus could kill a god due to his power. So if an equal or greater power met Zeus it would be possible. Depends on your definition of a God. The greek gods were pretty shallow and narcissitic, though Hades knew his job and kept at it. Respect Hades. Superman went from jumping tall buildings in a single bound to flying. Wonder woman had a jet than suddenly could fly. Heroes are always written as getting what they need to overpower their foes. And in Godzilla fiction he's the king.

Furthermore, in several of Godzilla's movies, he's shown a sensitivity or aversion, if not weakness to electricity ...Zeus would probably stop G's heart with his thunderbolts. To Zeus, this would just be vanquishing one more Titan.
If Zeus were REALLY desperate, his son Heracles, with the strength to hold up the Earth itself (he once relieved the Titan Atlas of the duty), teamed up with Apollo, would throw Godzilla into the core of the sun. Plot twist: Godzilla’s an ancient primordial forgotten by all and his lightning breath is mistaken for radiation the radiation actually comes from his godly-ness. So Zeus had no chance as he was fighting a beast that rivaled the might of tautarus, Nyx, and Gaia. Yeah he’s a forgotten god possibly the first born of chaos the mightiest and eldest god. Godzilla is the physical form of balance and death. (Possibly) Just my theory.

Yeah he can transform himself and other people as well as materialize things but he's not really a reality warper. Plus the Infinity Gauntlet is a temporary amp, if a character merged with the infinity gems then that'd be a better analogy

Nah Zeus and the gods were nerfed by about 19000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% and godzilla would be buffed in this book by around 400000000% but its not really cannon as there arent as many gods in this. So this is like a little non canon short story to milk the godzilla franchise once more
