Like I said before its kinda hard for me to pick my favorite Godzilla movie of all time because I love most of them. But my favorite Era has gotta be the Heisei (or 90's era as I sometimes call it). With the exception of "Godzilla vs Mothra: Battle for Earth" a lot of those movies from that era had unique stories, memorable monsters, and a some what coherent continuity. 🐲📼📺💿🤖

Ppl gotta go easy with the MV. Sure it’s not perfect but you have to remember Toho themselves stated that without the popularity of the MV, there would be no Japanese Godzilla. No minus one, no shin goji, no anime’s nothing. Plus if we get to have King Kong and Godzilla teaming up and fighting in Brazilian cities than my criticisms can go else where lol

As always with Godzilla, Lady PB is spot on. She is the Critical Drinker of Godzilla films. When I saw mini Kong and pink Godzilla, I so wanted to hate. And then, as you guys said, as long as it's absolutely nutballs, go for it. My favorite era, by a kaiju mile, is Showa. So to have Minus One and this lunacy bumping up side by side, it's like '54 and '74 smashed into 2024! I guess the secret to a good G film is just own it, zany or tragic. There is a Big G for everyone - it's why he's lasted seventy years! Oh yeah, you both shudda seen Minus Color in the theater - it was worth it.

The titan they are afraid of is Shimo and in this universe he is the first ever titan and has ice powers and caused the first ice age and is bigger than Godzilla. Also the rumour is at the end when they are standing together Mothra is inbetween them and stopped them fighting but they edited it out.

I love it and I am excited, Monsterverse is basically turning into the modern Showa era and I'm all here for it. I too share the sentiment there is room and always will be room for BOTH styles of Godzilla. And if they want to create an entirely new seperate Godzilla universe to be on the more serious side for Legendary Godzilla , I'd be all for it too, Godzilla is Godzilla he can be terrifying and he can do flying drop kicks, it doesn't matter to me. My favorite Godzilla movie has to go to Godzilla vs the Sea Monster, not cause I think it's the best, but because it holds a special place in my heart as the first ever movie that introduced me to the Gman, it was a VHS gift from the blockbuster movie bin to me from my mom and it kickstarted my love for the genre.

Am I the only dude that saw Mothra in the reflection of the eyes? Blink and you missed it! Shimo, the one that almost had Kong speechless in the face when he locked eyes on it, is the one everyone fears! The one whose breath is Ice. Everyone keeps thinking thats Godzilla. Godzilla's breath is atomic. Sidenote: Godzilla has a few different powers. His atomic breath being most popular but when they showed him in that one clip doing his nuclear blast from his body, my boyfriend lost it! 😂

Yes!!! Always love your Kaiju trailer reactions, you guys might hate me for it , but love love Godzilla vs Megalon. It was the first Godzilla movie I saw those Saturday mornings waking up too watch cartoons and that was what they had on afterwards fell in love with Godzilla then and I’m still here still in love with Godzilla now .

Regardless of how beautiful Minus one is Legendary can put a solid fun movie together, I choose to love both variations of Godzilla from Toho and Legendary. It's just like WWE or AEW...Why not both lol and enjoy wrestling as a whole. But yes I am VERY much looking forward to seeing this come March 29th

G x K : The New Empire will be EPIC....Can't Wait.....G MINUS ONE is hands down one of the best Godzilla movies of ALL TIME I do agree to your point...However, Legendary Monster verse is unique in its own way and should not deserve the hate if they deliver the unbridled chaos and destruction and straightforward brawl between the TITANS, that is all we WANT from this movie...GODZILLA, the King of the Monsters and KONG, King of the Hollow Earth join forces to take down The Skar King and his goons and Shimo and I do believe that MOTHRA might be in it in some way...Just a gut feeling...Awaiting the Destruction that this Movie is Showcasing and I just want Pure Monster brawl that's it...2 LEGENDS, 2 ICONS bringing it on to take down new foes in the horizon

Looks like it's gonna be fun. Peeps gotta remember that the Monsterverse is taking on the role that a lot of the Showei/Heisei/Millenium movies took on: monstermashing blockbuster fun that doesn't focus on the human characters as the central role of the movies (Whereas Toho has been taking on the more serious, faithful approach to the original Godzilla 54 which inevitably does focus on a human-driven plot). Of course they can get better in writing out the plot for the human characters and overall direction of the stories, but the Monsterverse is supposed to be a gift for those who wanted an American-version of the kaiju-madness that Godzilla 98 failed to capture.

People whining about the monsterverse are the same people that ate up the superhero crap that has been glogging up theaters for years now. I honestly find giant monsters more realistic and less silly that a bunch or people in goofy costumes fight a grimace alien over his magic stone glove.

This movie really looks disappointing. Godzilla 2014 was pretty good. Then, King of the Monsters was awesome. These two movies, Godzilla moved like a menace and was this dominate force in these movies. God vs Kong...not terrible...but the storyline was crap...the fights werent bad...but were a little corny. Mecha-Godzilla actually saved the movie at the end. However, this movie...looks corny as shit. Godzilla teams up again with Kong to fight another ape? Godzilla already beat one ape, Kong...and destroyed the most destructive villain in Ghidorah that would have annihilated Kong and this other goofy ape in this movie in 5 mins. Also, the preview shows Godzilla "running" like some Human...with Kong wearing some transformer looking bullshit arm weapon? Then, Godzilla turns PINK when releasing his atomic breath? This looks like bullshit to make money on a bunch of geeks and nerds that live a breathe this shit. Not impressed. Bring back the menacing version of Godzilla against a REAL foe...not another ape he has already beaten...easily I might add. I give this 2 out of 5 stars only for the hope of a few good, entertaining fights. The movie will have a shit storyline like those garbage Transformer movies and the Monsters will be corny...with Godzilla being commercialize like a superhero instead of a force of nature. I call garbage!

This trailer was cool but I think I liked the first one a tiny bit more, but regardless im still hyped to go see this movie. I got criticized for saying pretty much what you said PSG, about "if your not deliver on the story or characters, then you gotta deliver on the action". But your right though there has to be balance. 🦾🦍🪓🤩🦴🦧🧊 (8:20) I disagree with Lady Phat Blood on that, I think America can make a serious Godzilla movie. Even Rob from E.T.N. said that he still prefers 2014 over Minus One mostly becuase it has a better third act and a more staffing ending. And after re-watching the movie recently I have to agree with him on that. Plus if Hollywood every decides to reboot Godzilla 20 or 30 years later im sure they would try the more serious route again. ☢💣🦖🌉🪳
