The headband razor was designed to perfectly compliment head shaving. It was brought out to champion the head shave, embrace it and make it a more fun and functional activity.
For those who are struggling with hair loss and who finally decide to embrace the bald look by shaving the head, finding a good razor is key!
I was initially put off by the bold claims of the razor, the hype and also the design. It turns out to be a very good head shave and I will certainly continue to use the headblade razor in the future.

Harry, do you remember about T-Outliner? All of this stuff with blades is really expensive for everyday shaving. Trimmer may be more expensive than a razor, but it will work for many years. Yes, it is not for such a close shave, but you can call it like "evening bristle". I can`t wait review on Andis T-Outliner

I remember man and its coming don't worry. I have reviewed a lot of stick razors. Now I am reviewing the specialised head razors and then I will review a good few clippers including the T-outliner 👌 I will get to it but keep reminding me 😉

REALLY appreciated this review and the one where you compared it to a couple of others. I started looking at shavers some weeks ago and, like you, I discounted this almost on sight because it looked too gimmicky. However, I've now come back around to it and I have to say I'm really glad I stuck around and watched a few reviews. I've been nervous about trying the wet shave, but my new preference for a closer head shave attracts me to this unit because it looks very newbie friendly. I'm ordering it today and am looking forward to using it for the first time. I'm going for the MOTO over the ATX because of the flexible head. Wish me luck!! Much love from the Netherlands. xxx

Yesss, I’m so glad you finally used it and liked it! I’ve been using the Headblade since I started shaving my head and I love it! The only bummer for me in the US is that only one pharmacy chain sells the cartridges so I have to make special trips just for refills, and they only have the HB4.

Hello!this morning i shaved my head with headblade moto, with headslick ! Very smooth.i used the 4 blade refills. Then l used headlube glossy lotion.i did a 7 day vacation in Paris, and l bought the skinguard Gillette! I like them very much.i already had them, but i took them on amazon. Very good razor! It yes only 2 blades, but razed like a razor with 5 blades, and does not irritate! Keep it up with videos! I like them,and they are very interesting. Also i m starting to get very tired. Good weekend!

I just tried this fir the first time. I am surprisingly impressed by it. It’s pretty fast to use too. For guys who are receding, bald heads and long beards are the way forward!

Pro tip for all Headblade users: The 4 blade cart from dollar shave club fits the Moto if you remove the little adapter on the cart with some multi-grips. Takes about 60 seconds for a 4 pack. You're welcome.

Listen if your just starting out on the journey of shaving your own head I would say something like the headblade is probably the BEST place to start as the control you have over it and the way it sits in your hand is perfect. HOWEVER .. Once your comfortable with shaving your head I would suggest then moving onto a regular face razor because, A) Headblade replacement blades are INSANELY expensive compared to regular razor blades B) It's hard to find somewhere either online or an actual store that regularly has them in stock and so if your purely relying on this product to get the job done you COULD find yourself being caught short.

Just bought the Moto to help finally push myself to go for my 1st ever head shave after 30 years of long hair! I'm terrified, but I'm going for it!! One random question; any advice for the uneven tan I'm sure to uncover? I have quite the bald spot that's pretty dark!

I don't know if you have tried this... After your normal shave with the HeadBlade, try popping under the shower and do a final pass with it under the running water, it makes for an even better shave.

you should realy try the Headslick its the best shaving cream i used for my head. it verry verry slick and you dont have to use mutch if i looks almost gone just make it wet and you can go another pass :). you can even lather it, but then its a little less slick.

Hi, I watched many videos from your channel and always enjoyed reviews and interviews since I kinda share the same views on accepting balding instead of wasting precious time hidding it. I started losing my hair at 17/18 years old and ten years later not so far from the horseshoe. I bought the Philipps headgroom a few years ago but actually bought the remington quickcut with the curved blade on sales and would recommend it to anyone over the headgroom (except if you're willing to shave all of it). But what is the ultimate shaving (not buzzing) tool for you considering praticality, durability and costs? I am quite interested in the headblade but all the products and taxes is quite annoying for non-EU users ? I watched all the videos you made about this one and surety razors btw. I use the Head Blade on special occasion because it's so quick and easy and does not cut me. I would use it every day, but as far as I know they don't have a generic blade I can use to make it cheaper. Having to be stuck buying their blades only is too costly over time. I do love it, but because of the blade situation I can't use it daily. My daily shaver is either a Merku 34C DE or the Twig. Talk about not have to worry about blades. I can buy 100 Shark blades for $10 and it lasts well over a year.

As a bald barber i get asked all the time what is the best way to shave your head. For the longest time i used headblade and all their products. I never used the motto razor however. They are great products. Problem is they no longer sell their products in the stores, only on line. When the halftime razor came out i tried that and liked it better, they dont have the kind of products head blade has however they are cheaper than headblade. I have not triedvthe omni shaver yet but would love to give it a shot. There is also a foil shaver i just heard about called the pit bull that i would like to try.

I was impressed by the HeadBlade but that price.... I've got the omnishaver and the half time razor both coming very soon. Excited to try them out. I've heard of the pitfall too, skull shaver. I reached out to them but no reply.

very interesting review =) would like to ask if you have tips on how to keep the razors to last longer. some or almost all razors that are ideal for a head shave are very expensive in price. i hope there is a way to extend the life of our razors. It would greatly benefit our wallets

Is not expensive. The cartrige the cost the same Gillette fusion proglide.

I know right, The cartridges are expensive. I have seen a lot of conflicting things online. Some people say you should always dry the blades others say no no! you must let it air dry. Honestly im not sure myself but I will do my research and put together a nice video on how to look after the razor heads and extend their life.

For 3-4 years I've been using the 10 blade small wet shave called the Omnishave. I can shave my head completely smooth, and I mean smooth, in around 90 seconds. It takes some getting use to as it is a small tool but once the technique is down, there is no other head shaver on the market that can touch it. Two 5 blade cartridges go into it and I've had 60+ shaves from one set. It's invented in the US by two California guys. I've been purchasing it from Amazon. Annoyingly, it's temporary out of stock. After 4 years my omnishave base finally broke. So I've now taken over my wife's until they come back into stock. And yes, women can use them too. My wife says it's the best shaver she's used for legs and arm pits. She'll go back to old school lady shave whilst I take on her omnishave. Honestly, there will be nothing that shaves as close and as quick. See link for a demo. I used the Headblade about 10 years ago. At the time it only had 2 blades, I liked the results but one cartridge only lasted a few shaves. I wonder if the 6 blade might last longer. Great channel.

Heads up.....use a hairdryer to completely dry your razors after each shave..... Makes them last uo to 4 times longer! I shave my head twice a week, plus neck, etc and I get 3-4 weeks out of a gillette...;)

I use headblade moto or s4 moto gold finger in stell.with hb4 7-10 headshave.i shave every day with headslick, aftershave clearhead new version with witch hazel and headlube glossy, in the summer clearhead and headlube spf 50!

Headblade moto? Hb4 or hb6 or dorco pace 4 .I use hb4 refills. I shave my head every day in the summer, every 2 days, 3 times a week in the winter. I have s4 moto gold finger.very heavier, another level! With headblade moto I use always headslick shave cream. Sometimes I use Gillette fusion prosheild flexball chill, I use synthetic brush, rasorock big Bruce 26mm plissoft, and great soaps. Stirling, barrister and man, rasorock xxx, cella,Taylor, arian&Evans,tfs, saponificio varesino, proraso

I use headblade moto 2 years with headslick. And atx 5 years. Very cloose for my head. Now use fusion proglide for the beard. Headblade is very queek. I m 34 years old and razor my head 17 years.i use mach 3 ,Wilkinson Extreme 3 ,Gillette fusion proglide flexball. Now i use headblade atx 4 years and moto 2 years. The fusion is normal tradizional razor.but is good razor
