So who else is binge watching people bleach their hair cause they’ve ordered powdered bleach and developer to bleach their hair so they’re watching to see what not to do and what to do
Samantha Leigh 💛 Ive bleached it a second time so far and the results are amazing. I’m excited to bleach it a third time and tone it. And I have darrkkkk asian hair but this video is a great outline on what to do if you have dark hair
Toner wouldn’t have lifted those pieces on her ends that were still orange tho They would have only _toned_ and she wanted those orange pieces to be lighter. if you put purple toner on orange hair, (I’m guessing she would have gone with the popular Wella T-18 because she was going for a platinum blonde) it’ll only give it a pale purple cast that makes it _look_ lighter, but it really isn’t lighter. Plus toner washes out and bleaching your hair doesn’t. 10-20 developer is typically used with toner and those volumes of developer wouldn’t have lifted the orange color from her hair as much as she wanted. She would have needed to spot bleach once more.
@@edhelespyn A demi colour would be much better as a toner on already bleached hair....Wella Demi 10NA used with the Wella activating lotion is much more gentle on bleached hair and gives a beautiful shiny lightest ash tone.
Don't worry, you can still get hired despite your colored hair. My other Asian friends just got their BAs and are interning at businesses or earning credentials while looking like disco queens 😂👌
Liana Chau I have crazy hair all the time. Right now I have a black and blue/gray split dye. I’m working on a PhD. The stigma around hair color is changing. You look totally awesome with the platinum hair. I really love it on you :)
WOW, it really came out GORGEOUS! I personally am over the silver-lavender look so seeing your more pearly butter blonde was like YES! It's so beautiful everything from the color to the tone and the bouncy healthy shine, Girl you nailed it! Awesome job, I'm most definitely staying tuned for whatever you do next. 💎
I've recently went blonde and i have asian black hair as well. I feel like to maintain the tone, or ashiness of my hair, toner makes such a huge difference on your hair. I use the wella toners and it turned my orangey yellow hair to a nice cool blonde. Just a suggestion but blonde suits you!
I think your old enough to do what you want without worrying about what others think of you. Just because your going blonde doesn't mean those stereotypes about blondes are true. What you hear is not always true. Your hair turned out great btw. Your rocking it girl!
You actually did a really good job! Even after the first bleach session, the results were better than I expected. It's not easy to go from almost black hair to blonde, and impossible to do in one sitting.
sis!! it looks so good! i honestly think you did a smashing job considering you did at home by yourself asian hair is so hard to lift but you made it look so easy anyways ur stunning i love it !
It looks so good! I think it ended up being pretty healthy cause you took so many breaks in between each bleach! This makes me wanna dye my hair so bad!
You have a new subscriber! I’ve been looking at videos like this and I love how you were honest about the whole process, I’m going to try this soon wish me luck!
Your hair looks so good girl! I bleached my hair at home for the third time but I keep toning it so it turns silver but your hair tone looks so good! I’m gonna have to try it out!
This turned out awesome! So jealous, I want to lighten my asian hair but I'm just nervous about the damage and orange brassy stage and maintenance and basically everything 😂 but you rock the hair color. Thanks for leaving your products in the description btw :)
GIRL YOU LOOK SO GOOD!! im getting my hair hopefully light blonde-- almost platinum like yours once quarantine is lifted, maybe summertime. hope it turns out HALF as good as yours
I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out on the first try.... ...by the finish it was really lovely, healthy looking too, it was surprisingly unfrazzled!...and it suits you so much! Sorry I lost the heart you gave me by editing and adding to my comment! 😘
This is one of the best DIY Bleaching and you look SOOO GOOD as a blonde 💖 btw just got a bleaching set gonna be doing this tonight hope it turns out well 😂
the lightness on the roots is referred to as "hot roots", it happens because of the heat of your head making the developing process work faster, to avoid this you can go around your whole head first w/ bleach leaving out the roots, waiting a bit(~20mins) and then going in to your roots (I learned from brad mondo)
Your so cute !! Love the blonde. When you get out the shower always protect your blonde with leave in conditioner and oil etc heat protectant, creates a barrier on the hair :D
Planning to dye my hair soon! But ill start off with a balayage and maybe if im courageous enough, will try what you did on this video. You're looking really great btw! Subscribed! 😚
So I just received my lightener and developer after researching for a few weeks and I am so in love with your hair it makes me want to do it even more 😩 but if all goes bad I can always shave my hair and become an egg 😌💕
