Great to have been there, with my wife and the rest is History 🇬🇧 We came all the way from New Jersey just to be there. First time in London stayed for 7days, took a Train to Liverpool for a day Trip. We had a JOLLY GOOD TIME 🎭🎫🎟️👑🇺🇲 It all had to do with the LOVE We Have For JEFF BECK ❤️🇬🇧💂🎠
Wish I could have been there this show. Eric Claptons Guitar Festival in 2019 was my last concert with Jeff Beck, and a lot of the same artist that was at this show.
I think it's always hard to play a repertoire that isn't yours with musicians you're not used to play with. The number of people onstage and the lack of rehearsals does not improve anything. This musicians are much better when playing with their own band.
I expected this to be much better! To honor Jeff Beck, and just seeing him last year with Johnny Depp, but all these musicians look lost, and have no idea what they’re doing. The whole concert just seems a mess no matter what video I go to… They should have paid tribute and better organized than this.😞
I have to agree. I love these guys, but I think the venue could have been more polished. Perhaps Jeff would have liked the laid back collaboration of his peers…😅
No one but Eric stepped up to put this Tribute together. No one. Could this have been better, yes. Look around many of these "acts" showed up drunk of otherwise. Many simply had no where else to go, no other offers to play anywhere & many invited, such as Page, chose not to show up for whatever reason No one will ever compare to Jeff Beck; he was always original & true to his craft. This concert was saying goodbye to a man who always did it his way. This was some of the people who cared about & played with Jeff over the years saying goodbye. Look at who is there & who is not there as it speaks volumes. Look at who showed up at the funeral to say goodbye & those who showed up for the media circus. All of you are missing the point of the Tribute in the first place RIP Jeff
Love it when rod dances but yeah, rest of the time resembles Joe Biden fumbling about. Depp(a good ACTOR), Damge done to a great song w/exception of duo shredders. More like a drunken wake.(except E.C. - of course)
