Unboxing some stuff my buddy Toxic Water sent me. He made an ingenious way to turn your keg still into electric with out having to weld anything. He also gave me an electric pid controller box and some 200 proof pure moonshine. If you ever thought about going electric with your keg still then you might wanna jump on these because as awesome as these are i am sure they will be out of stock in not time. Just be careful if element runs dry it will burn out,it has to be covered in liquid, and never run without being covered with liquid or you element will burn out , electric is great tho, still have to be with it don’t walk away because as your run progresses and your alcohol levels drop you have to adjust your temps just like with gas , good luck and happy distilling

PID controllers and Pulse Width Mod are game changers. Make sure your elements are covered with liquid and your thermocouple is at the "point if no return" in your condensing arm.

that potentiometer matched up with that amp meter will give u very fine adjustment ur going to luv it

Your friend didn't distill 200 proof liquor. The strongest proof of liquor that can possibly me made by ethanol still using a heat separation process is with a vapor management column still and that is 192.6 proof. to then get it to 200 takes a chemical separation process. Good video by the way 👍

Yeah he did the chemical process after distillation his still pulls about 190 then he adds it to a molecular siv look him up he’s legit I got 2 friends that both have achieved 200 proof that are both awesome at what they do

I used a stainless ferrule and silver soldered it to my keg to add an element. And use a scr it’s super simple

I'm curious as to how he got that copper L pipe through that stainless 2 inch triclamp spacer to seal properly? The only thing I can think of is that he TIG welded it, but it threw me off when you brought up how how much of a task it is to get someone with a TIG. George from barley and hops even brought up this as an issue when building the helmet to big blue. So I'm wondering how that copper elbow went through that stainless and sealed to where it holds up and keeps a permanent seal?

it is soldered, you can solder copper to stainless you just have to have the right type of solder, and flux.

You can’t make 200 proof without micro filter watch barley and hops videos George is the king he’ll tell you where to get them and how to use them properly
